I am just wanting to find out what kind of Task do Mistresse set for their subs/slaves.

My sub wants me to take more control of him. We do not live together but he is in chastity to me. I sometimes find it hard to think up task to set him each day.

I was wondering if any more Experienced Mistres has any advice to help me.

If you use the Search feature and use keywords like "tasks" or "online training," there are a number of threads in the archives with good suggestions. You should also have him keep some sort of journal, either on a free blog site such as LiveJournal/Wordpress/Blogger or on his computer in a word processing file he can email to you. If he's not a writer, you could have him create a video journal instead. If you don't already have it, pick up a copy of Training With Miss Abernathy, by Christina Abernathy. It's set up as a workbook for novices and many of the activities can be adapated to suit your needs.

You don't mention if this sub is online only or if you have a real-time relationship as well. If you have a RT relationship, then your job is much easier. He can do everything from picking up your dry cleaning to coming over and cooking supper or cleaning your house. If it's a long-distance or online only relationship, then you'll have to get creative. Instead of a daily task, you might want to think up some projects that will require more time to complete (a few days to a week). Whatever you instruct him to do should benefit you in some way, whether it's useful, such as cleaning, or purely for your entertainment (memorize and recite a poem).

Agreed, but maybe also some meditation time set aside and challenging him with coming up with suggestions how he can make the life of his domme easier/more pleasant...

Tasks are all well and good, but if it creates more work for YOU, then it's not serving the purpose.

Look at what you need done, or what you would rather have someone else do. Maybe you need a new dishwasher, and need some price comparisons. Maybe you are waiting for a pair of shoes to go on sale at Zappo's. Maybe you need some research done. WHATEVER. The key is YOU. Whatever he is doing, it's to make YOUR life easier, more streamlined, more pleasant.

Thank you all for you suggestions and comments. I do see my sub once every 3 weeks he spends the weekend with me. While with me, cleaning and worshipping me are all done, cooking too.

My initial thought is - do YOU want to take more control, or is this entirely him? If you don't want to take more control (which, I could understand why ... you only see him every three weeks - props to you, because I couldn't do that for very long) - then don't. If you do want to take more control, as others have already said, have him do things that make your life better/easier/more enjoyable. Otherwise, it's a waste of time, and he's really the one in control.
