Like when you are in an airport and they scan your luggage and find a whip maybe few other things like hand cuffs what do they do confenscate the items?

Put them in your checked luggage inside of clear ziplock bags, clearly labeled sex toys. But I would not suggest bringing hand cuffs with you. Non metal items can go in carry on, again in labeled clear bags. Always remember to remove batteries from vibrators. If it starts to go off, they will assume it's very bad news and you don't want to miss your plane while explaining to the bomb squad why your luggage is vibrating.

most tsa agents have seen it all just leave any metal items in checked luggage. only take items on cary on that are needed for the travel itself. ive had floggers and single tails on my carry on and had no problem

I had no problem having a crop and various toys in my luggage going to see Master. My collar I had in my carry-on bag, as it had too much metal on it to go through the detector without tripping it. No one said anything, didn't even raise an eyebrow.

only travelled twice with toys all in suitcase and i was so embarrassed when they went into xray just wante ground to open up , however no one said anything and luckly they idnt hand search case

What DesFIP said, best all in the check in luggage and if you are too worried, pack it all in a box and send it to your destination.

Definitely check it. Many floggers and whips, particularly the fabulous handmade ones that are found at kink fairs have a metal pipe in the handle.... this can keep you at the security checkpoint for days.

I have traveled with extensive gear, and while I've gotten a couple love notes from TSA (rather creepy), I've never had anything disappear.

They only other thing that you really need to be careful about- package everything in such a way so that it's easy repacked by someone who is a bit clumsy. If your bag has to be repacked just so for everything to arrive, it's possible that the screening process can keep it from making your flight.

I have travelled to France from England with a full bdsm holdall and got no flicker of an eyelash.
I think they are looking for for bombs than buttplugs.

I used to work for an airline as a ramp manager and would catch ramp rats going through luggage all the time. If you're travelling with something you can't afford to lose, put it in your carry-on. If it's something that cannot be put into a carry-on due to size or TSA/Airline regulations, mail it to your destination ahead of time.

Last time I flew I had on a rhinestone set of handcuffs on a chain(think the size of the thumbcuffs but without the moveable parts) the TSA chick at the scanner was a kinkster (bless her she recognised by BDSM symbol ring)) and said that if anyone else had seen them they would have confiscated them, so I had to put it under my shirt!
I check everything else. altho I did leave a small egg/bullet in the bottom of my purse one time. That was fun to
Ive had one beautiful Montague flogger stolen, but thats the only loss in ten years.
Ive flown with merchandise and full suitcases of toys. never had a problem, well Ive been searched but I dont have much of a problem with that personally
Sex toys(insertables) always together in a clear bag, and no batteries in the toys, they go off at the worse moments
Otherwise yep send ahead if you have problems with it being seen.
