I've already been wrapped in the stuff for an hour. Would being left alone for 2 hours mummified be a good idea?

Probably not, bondageDick. Leaving you tied/mummified in general for long periods of time I see little problem with (in fact I find it hot) but someone should always be near enough to be able to cut you out in case of emergency.

To the OP:

I'm jealous. While I prefer rope or stuff like that... I've always thought it would be totally hot to be mummified. I dunno how I'd do about my face (I have issues there) but everywhere else? Smexahhh....

I'm interested in the comment a few people have made about the itchiness of this stuff. I wonder if that's necessarily a bad thing in a bdsm context

I must agree that one should always play safe. You should never leave the mummified person unattend. Or anyone for the matter tied up or gagged. Medical conditions can arise and not be related to the bondage. Enviromental conditions can arise like fire, tree falling on house, rock through a window. Life is strange some times but one my be safe. I have used a baby monitor to be watch while wrapped before also. So there are alternatives to being the room

It is to me. Even people who like pain in a sexual context dislike stubbing their toes.
And some things, like itching, are an instant turn off. So if you want to control her orgasm, it helps if she's interested in having one.
