I came across this whine from a self-proclaimed Dominant: "So many have been clueless to any realistic venture towards Me and cannot comprehend what I have sought." Now that you're gagging over that bit of horrific grammar, it gets better: She goes on to cite examples of the stupid things people have supposedly said to her. You guessed it. "I’m educated and have a degree = I can’t spell and form sentences" Can you smell the stench of irony here?

I'm afraid I can't say much about this. If I think somebody is an idiot, it isn't that hard for them to pick that up from Me directly. I don't go to another area to tell other people I think they're a twatwaffle. That's kind of a 'behind a person's back' type of thing.

It is true; you really can't make this shit up. I've tried to write "in the style of" one of my absolute favourite regular posters and am simply unable to butcher the English language enough to even deliver a passing imitation. Bad grammar doesn't bother me enormously, but bad pompous, head in your own arse grammar really does. That said, some people may have abysmal grammar, while also having some very smart and thoughtful things to say. Indeed, my very favourite grammar butcher often makes some very insightful comments. Some of us (myself included) may well have the ability to form a sentence, but that doesn't guarantee that it's not a sentence full of arse! (myself included).

gud speling and gramma doesnt alweys mean smarts or comman sense and vice versa... (yes intentional errors there) I am university educated but if I dont proof read what I write (and sometimes I don't) my spelling and grammer can be a trainwreck, add to that typos and omg it is a wonder it makes any sense to anyone. Athough what was written in the OP certainly seems pompous, the OP themselves seems far more so by picking a person apart on here, seriously are you so perfect, or do you just have nothing better to do with your time.

You obviously have no understanding of learning disabilities. There are many highly intelligent and educated people who have them and therefore cannot spell. I would suggest you start by educating yourself on this subject, OP.

Hmmm. That does put me in mind of a type that I avoid like the plague. These are what I call 'Abigails' (after the character in the Mike Leigh play 'Abigail's Party'). They know the name and content of every cocktail, use sugar tongs with little cubes in a crystal bowl, and snort in contempt at those who put milk in tea first. ('Minties', they call them.) They consider themselves persons of the utmost glamour, culture and sophistication but to come in contact with one of them is to endanger the soul itself. They give me the deep-down shudders.

And I used to feel the same way AJ.....buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut...the increasing proliferation of, ahem, questionable profiles and forum posts has led me to shift my perspective. Now, if I see certain spelling errors, capitalization or lack thereof, and (most of all) unusual grammatical and syntax usage that suggests that English is a 2nd language, I presume the poster is a fake. And ya know what, that feeling happens a lot, which had always been the case on the other side but is kinda new (as in happens a whole helluva lot more often over the last few years) on the forums.
