They're sorted by last date.

This search is a bit less wordy - http://www.collarchat.com/searchpro.asp?author=authur

I'm not sure i got most of that, but are you saying that there are an infinite number of posibabilities of the state of the universe after the uncountable times chance took a turn? or the number of ways things could have turned out? Much like abutterfly effect there are million thing i could write her' hbskfh ' and each random selection maybe affect my and the universes future decisions.

Nope. Actually, it supports a mechanistic interpretation of events. Things were pretty much going to happen this way no matter what. But there's no possible way to fully predict future events, so it's irrelevant. With the right tools, we'll be able to make pretty good guesses, though.

Start by reading the forums. I'd suggest you read a number of them so you can learn the "norms" around these parts. We tend to be a pretty smart, ethical bunch. We don't generally suffer fools, blowhards, or jerks. If you choose to be one of those, expect to be called on it.

You also might want to take note of which people resonate for you. Who tends to have similar viewpoints as yours as well as the people with different ones. For me, I often find that the people who disagree with me teach me quite a lot. It doesn't mean I change my opinion, but it does mean that I consider another perspective. I find that a valuable tool in having good interactions with people.

By the same token, you also may want to notice who can disagree in an adult manner and who calls people names or attacks the person rather than the point of the post. There are some people who prefer to have mean-spirited interactions with others. *shrug*

If there is a topic that interests you, your handy dandy search button can help you search for terms and not just your own posts. You can also search for posts of a particular person who may have struck your fancy.

Or you might want to just dive right in. Baptism by fire is always an option.

Best,
sunshine
