Greetings

I've met but one submissive but it was fun. She lives way upstate so it will not work out.My problem is no photo as I use a public computer however, I have saved mail with my photo but rarely will a sub take a chance (sigh)

Hi, Glen.  Welcome to collarme.

If you have a smartphone, you can use it to browse, and should be able to upload a photo from it.

Wait a sec. 

1. You use a public computer and are able to access collarme from it?!?!?!?  If so...

2. Open your email service (hotmail, yahoo, whatever) on the computer.  Access the email with your pic.  Open the pic and save it onto the computer.
Then go to collarme and open your profile.  Upload the pic from wherever you saved it, onto the profile.  Then delete the pic from the public computer.

Fella, you cannot be computer illiterate in this day and age.  Age is not an excuse - I'm only two years younger than you.

Edited to add:  and mnottertail below is only one year younger than you.

gotta go with my man Steve here, save it to desktop (the pic) upload it from desktop to collarme, delete whats on the desktop, collarme keeps the pic.

i'm failing to see why the sub's location, which is still in the same state, is such a barrier.

Yes, it's nice to see your sub regularly but, if you guys have a connection, i wouldn't look for reasons to end a relationship. Especially something as silly as distance. i've travelled across the country for a Master once. And, if the connection is there, i would do it again.

In regards to the picture, have someone else take a picture of you on your phone, then upload as the other two gentlemen have said. Surely you have friends who will do that for you, right?

Simple answer to your dilemma though.  You just get yourself a sub who is less tech-challenged than you.

If you're worried about what's been suggested (upload pic to the public computer > upload it to CM > delete the pic off the public computer) another option is to open an account at a free photosharing site (such as photobucket), upload your pic there, and if you meet someone with whom you want to share the pic, you can give them the link to the picture on the photo site.

OP, if you do not want to post a public photo, that is fine.

However, if I correspond with someone who will not send me a photo, I just do not deal with them, sorry.

There really is no excuse for not sending someone a photo, sorry.
