It is the inequitable treatment that I object to.   Preference to one group over another whether it be taxes, healthcare, or whatever.

Please show us one of your post where you decried the inequitable treatment of homosexuals.
Yes we all remember your post where you gloated how you fucked the u.s. taxpayer into paying for your medical condition. Why is it good for you and wrong for others?

Under the health care law- people will be required to buy a policy.

Ken, their battle cry should be; "We don't want any special priviledges, just treat us like illegal aliens!"

ROFLMAO   you know I disagree with same sex marriage  but that is a personal point of view based upon the historical meaning of marriage.   No one ever asked if I liked calling it some other name or if I objected to a homosexual union.   the answer to that is no.   But Marriage   no I think it shouldn't happen.

LadyPact -> RE: Arizona's unmarried partners set to lose health-care benefits (12/25/2010 7:02:09 AM)

Have to say, I think I'm with tazzy on this one.  Opposite sex couples who aren't married do have the option to do so and bingo!  Health care coverage is a done deal.

There is no health care benefits extended to opposite sex couples who live together but are not married when the person is working for any branch of the federal government or a member of the military.  The state of Arizona would have saved itself the expense by never offering the coverage to unmarried opposite sex couples in the first place.

When the day comes that the state of Arizona recognizes some form of same sex marriage/civil union, then those same sex couples who are not married would be on the same playing field.

To be honest Tazzzy, it was pure snark to the OP, after his comments regarding non americans posting.

Im all for benefits for partners, wether hetero or homo, married or not
you are right, the law is not right. I think it should be a fed thing, not a state thing, for this exact reason
I did respond:) tongue in cheek apart from the government voting part.
that I meant:)

If they legalized gay marriage they could take benefits away from all unmarried couples.

tazzygirl -> RE: Arizona's unmarried partners set to lose health-care benefits (12/25/2010 6:59:09 PM)

Proving that being gay is a protected right.

CerVeza -> RE: Arizona's unmarried partners set to lose health-care benefits (12/25/2010 7:06:11 PM)
