Someone help me out here. Pro submissives?!? I can understand Pro Dommes strictly from a Supply & Demand standpoint. But submissives are like assholes ... there's one on every street corner. Ladies ... do you see this as fanciful thinking? Or would a 'pro' submissive be able to make a living ? (For the record ... that is not my intention for strating this thread ....)

First i was going to say something about your first comment. snort obviously i do not agree with it. If that was the case why would so many people be seaching to find the one they seek? But to your case in point i have heard of pro subs that rent themselves out for a specified period of time within defined parameters just as a pro domme would. If helps those who are needy get their fix of whatever they need. Hey if people can make money at it and others get whatever manner of release they need, then more power to them!

They generally make more money than the pro Dominants. There may be an overabundance of submissives, however there is also an overabundance of Dominants. Now, hooking two up enough to trust one another is a whole other issue all together. Play is not on every street corner if you want to be safe and sane. When going to a pro there is an idea you will remain safe. Nobody will know you went unless you want them to know. For the Pro's it goes very much the same way as the Pro Dominants. Although the pro submissives I have known have been severe pain sluts. Most also worked out of a sudo office. They didn't go out to peoples homes. I don't know how all pro's operate but I do know pro fem doms who do go to private homes.

ron, I will agree and disagree. The percentage of sub/slave greatly out weigh those that are dominant. There are numerous threads on this site that have discussed all manner as to what degree a person is dominant or submissive. Many post as dominant or submissive who have a single fetish that could be identified as a small piece of this lifestyle. I am not a prodom, which addresses my side of the slash. Nor would I use a prosub. Yes, I receive lots of emails from not only across the USA, but from many other countries, that does not mean I would categorize them all as submissive males. More to the point that they present what I would require of a submissive male. The majority of the submissive males available to me do not fit my needs. Therefore (for me) the precentage of Doms to subs is not skewed to the subside. Again it is a matter of your definition of D/s, submissive, and dominant that would be the telling point. As your ad shows each person has their limits, needs, and perception of what a person in this lifestyle entails. There are those seeking sessions, part-time, caged, etc. each would be considered a piece of the lifestyle. As the old saying indicates "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", so is D/s. Very interesting question, wicked smile, bluntly posted (by the way I like). I wish you well in your search. Good luck with your degree, which for a final note brings up another point, location. You, for now are limited in WHERE you can seek a dominant woman. This adds another restriction. What is the availability of Dommes in your exact location? Ah life, you have to love it. Sundew

Ah, the pro submissive. IMO the most pro of pro submissives are the ones who write to Me and expect to move into My household, and be given everything they need to live (as little as that may be!) in return for being My slave. So now I am supporting them, taking care of their health needs, feeding them, clothing them (when they need clothes), providing the expensive chastity device, buying the toys, and keeping a roof over their heads, while they do some housework, handwash My undies and have their little kinks satisifed in the process? And they come with outstanding bills to be paid! I guess I better just marry that cuck who wants Me so badly! But yes, there are pro subs here and there. Can they make a living at it? Are they safe? To both of those questions I say "No!". A domme can have protection and She is also in charge of the scene. What is the sub in charge of? And yes, they had better be real pain sluts, because that is what they are going to get. And lots of it. A quick edit here... This is not to say that ideally the pro sub session is not set up with defined parameters. But once tied up, can they really control the scene?

Being part of the Toronto and South west Ontario scene, I know of one, possibly 2 professional dungeons where pro-subs are available. I know very little about it other than the ladies who pro-sub switch and can pro-domme as well. As far as I know, they can make a living at it, or they wouldn't be involved. My concern would be for the "lone ranger" who doesn't have staff in the dungeon to ensure her safety.
