When I was first getting involved in meeting online bdsm people many years ago the infantalism movement was very strong (Diaper Pail Fraternity, anyone? :) ), and I would often meet Mistresses who liked to be mommies of little boys (and sometimes little girls). Is there much interest in this anymore? Do you know Mistressses who still do this? Do you meet submissives who want this? I am just wondering what happened to this aspect of power relationships. I know Daddy/girl is alive and well on the Maledom side.

Of all of the types of dynamics out there, I've always found Mommy/boy to have the fewest females interested.  There's a serious reason why pros have such high rates for this specialty.

Happily dating a new submissive. It's official. I've named him engie.

Because it's a rare dominant woman who likes this?

I knew a few, back in the day, who seemed to enjoy this role.

I'm not saying that they are non-existent.  I would definitely say that there are many more males who are interested in AB/DL than there are women who enjoy those particular kinks.

Agreeing with LP. I knew a local lady who was totally into babies and babymaids, bless her heart, we referred folks to her all the time.

My observations of daddy/lg dynamics are that infantilism is rarely involved. I k now of male tops into diaper play, but it's a control or humiliation thing.

I recently talked to a friend of mine who still works as a pro and she said it was ebbing of for a while but it's now coming back because she gets more requests, but the thing is one can never be sure if the requests are real or just some jokers phoning up. Even with the phone wankers there seem to be trends...

Most definitely NOT my thing, mainly because I already have my own children. It hits too close to home to me, and I just find it much too disturbing and offputting to ever be able to consider it something remotely fun. Total hard limit for me.

I never did get the maledom daddydom thing, either. I think it's equally disturbing, but will respect other's modes of play and just chalk it up to not being my thing. I don't even do well with the "who's your daddy?" comments. and will put a halt to everything and explain to them who my REAL father is. Perhaps maledoms like it because they generally playact the real life parenting thing, so playacting with an adult isn't that much more of a reach for them? I dunno. Grasping at straws, here.

(Yes, I'm totally kidding with that last set. Really.)

Interesting responses, all. Thanks for informing me about the way things are now.

My former master enjoyed infantalist play. He did that with the submissive he knew before me. Diapers, bottles, baths, the whole thing. She loved going back to that very early age. Control was very much wound up with it. He didn't force it on me, however. According to him, I had an older "internal age"--the "I am NOT a baby!" age, lol--and so would not have responded to it too positively. He did occasionally threaten me with diapers as a humiliation/punishment though and the threat was more than enough to bring me back in line.
