I don't play online. I will see what I want to see in person, and he tries what I want him to try. As long as it is within limits.
If you want ideas, lower on the message boards list is an area where people write stories...in addition you can always buy some non-porn BDSM books just to see what others have been up to, like Jay Wiseman's SM101. Find out what's safe and what isn't before doing anything alone. If someone you are playing with online has you do something that causes unexpected harm, there would be nobody present to help you.
Learn and be safe, the rest will come with time.
