Welcome to the boards. Just a few words of advice, none of the regular posters will introduce a stranger to a friend of theirs. And if you google munches and events in your area I'm sure you'll be able to get out to some that appeal to you where you can meet people, make friends and connections that way. Good luck with that thing.
