My point was the naivete that people have regarding children, especially their own. They want desperately to believe in the innocence and purity of childhood. Trust me, the kids on South Park are closer to the truth.
Starting when I was around 8 years old, my friends and I would hang out in the church schoolyard where they would park a big, walk-in paper recycling container that the church used to raise money. We would help the people unload their their bags of newspapers and magazines. The priests and nuns would bring us iced tea and cookies for being such wonderful children volunteering our time to help.
In reality, we discovered that a lot of the pious churchgoers loved their porn.
The only reason we were there was to go through their discards and create our own porn collections.
