I don't even drink the stuff, can't stand it, but love the smell. And for some strange reason I have about 4 or 5 of the scoops here. Now if only I could find them? [;)]

I have a 12 cup coffee pot. I have a press and an espresso/cappuccino maker, however I never use them.

Normally one tablespoon for a 5 oz cup but I make it weaker for the teen who needs a cup of coffee to move in the mornings.

Haven't seen scoops in coffee in years. Mine have come with the coffee maker.

I use a measuring cup. I wonder if they were supposed to be heaping or something. Or if it is a weight instead of volume. Because now that you mention it, that does not make sense with butter. Or it could be a metric cup to a US tablespoon thing. Because 1 metric cup equals 16.9 US tablespoons. Or 17.6 UK Tablespoons. I think that I like weight better. I will stick with the scale.

I just fill the little basket in the moka pot, screw the top to the bottom, put it on the stove and voila! Espresso Or for the cafe au lait, pile a few heaping spoonfuls of the coffee chickory mixture in the glass, poor hot water over, let steep, and press. Mix with heated mild and voila.
