i think i may be one of the luckiest girls in the world.

You see, my world came crashing down for me yesterday, when a dog decided she was going to play with my 2 year old cat, and broke my cat's back in her excitement to play. We had to put my little angelbaby down yesterday evening. i was simply devastated, still am, but He was, and is, calm and composed, and right there for me every step of the way.

He was hesitant to go to work last night, doesn't want me alone tonight when He has to go to work. When He came home this morning, He brought me a doughnut, maple glazed, which is how He and i both like them, and told me i have absolutely no responsibilities today, am to just relax and rest, that if i need Him to come get Him.

He knows how important she was to me. When He had me move in with Him, she came with me. i couldn't leave her behind, and even though He had several other animals in the house at the time, He didn't ask me to leave her behind. She was my angelbaby, a light in my life that is now simply...gone...

And He's right there, supportive, as i'm an emotional wreck.

Any other subs or slaves have similar stories of their Master's wonderfulness? i've read a dozen or more sad or negative posts here and figured it is time for a nice one, so please share your stories about your wonderful Masters (or wonderful Mistresses..i apologize, i don't mean to leave out those who kneel to women, but it's my natural inclination to refer to the masculine when referring to Dominants)

~Fast Reply~

There are more but the first one that comes to mind is this:

I'm TERRIFIED of flying. Just utterly terrified. But last year my parents paid to fly me down to Florida for my birthday to spend time with them. So I hopped on that plane alone despite my fears. Valyraen had me buy a jacket from a thrift store, a bedazzler and a selection of rhinestones. Then he shooed me away and bedazzled the back so that it said "Jacket of Courage +10"

The stones have nearly all fallen off but I still love that thing.

So sorry to hear of your loss.  I always believe in getting a new "baby" in honor of the one who has passed on.  I know you can never "replace" your cat, however, I do think getting another kitten in the near future would be a great way to help you heal; also if animals could speak I think they would want us to rescue another of their kind.  There are soooooooo many out there that need homes right now...........

Remember too that your kitty awaits the day you both meet at the Rainbow Bridge..........I know that brings Me comfort when I have lost one in the past.  Cause if pets don't go to heaven, I sure don't want to be there either!

Definitely worth repeating!

Thank you, Renee7852. i definitely wouldn't want to go to any kind of "heaven" if the animals that i've loved over the years were not also there, with me. i'm not sure i really want another kitten. She was different than any other cat i've ever had. i guess she might have been my familiar. Though, if she really was, i don't know why she had to leave me so soon. She, too, was only two years old and i raised her from a starving kitten, runt of her litter. She held onto my hand, held tight, after it happened. Each time i tried to move away from her to get a tissue, and when i needed to change clothes so we could take her to the vet, she wouldn't lay still. She tried to stay with me. i was her mommy and she wanted me...i'm sure she knew she wouldn't make it, and all she wanted was me to be with her.

Ok, i have to stop because i'm starting to cry and this is turning away from my original intent...please, subs and slaves, please share your stories of how wonderful your Dominants/Masters are.

My past Master was very wonderful. We met when my Grandpa was on hospice and consequently passed away. i had worked on a eulogy for weeks. When it got time to stand up and say it at the funeral, i just burst into tears and couldn't speak. He let me read it to him, and then just cry all i needed to. All he did was hug me and tell me he loved me.

I'm so sorry about your kitty!  I lost my 6-year-old kitty girl a few months ago, very unexpectedly, so I understand just how you feel.  I'm so glad you have someone to help you through this.

I'm sorry for your loss, hun.  {{{{{HUGS}}}} to you!  It sounds like your Master has a huge heart.  Don't suppose you have a spare copy of him laying around do you?

I wish I could say that I've been with the same.....those that I've met often ignore my cats.  The only one I've ever discussed moving in with first told me I'd have to get rid of mine......I told him if he wants me, he wants the cats.  Needless to say, I'm still living alone!

Big hugs and it's wonderful your Master is so kind to you.

I want to encourage you to be cautious before getting another kitten/cat - as a behaviorist I can tell you that often that dogs that break a cat's back in "play" really are exhibiting aggression. This doesn't mean you have a dangerous dog, rather that your dog is acting out an instinct (most often hunting or protection, and sometimes just the "thrill of the kill") that often cannot be de-programmed. Such dogs are often better off not sharing a home with cats or other small animals.

Good luck to you, and my best as you heal from your loss.
