Perhaps you might define for us just what you mean by a socialist gulag?

Moonhead -> RE: Palin stonewalls release of public records. (1/4/2011 12:12:11 PM)

If he starts defining any of his terms, his posts will lose that sort of miasmic fog of the nonsensical they hover in normally.
(Besides, only socialists rigidly define their terms. Just look at all those five year plans Stalin was big on...)

"I can't believe there are still brain-dead morons that don't accept facts... like the fact that we've been shown the birth certificate"

You really should catch up before you call people brain-dead morons. One question:

1. What is it that is under lock and key in Hawaii? That the incoming Governor has said he wants to find a legal way to release?

It's what is called the long form birth certificate. Many states no longer routinely provide copies of that when a birth certificate is requested. The short form is official and has been released. It is valid for all purposes and proves both factually and legally that Obama was born in Hawaii.

And the short form would be issued for an amended birth certificate as well, without note that it was amended.

My oldest son has a California birth certificate, even though he was born in Colombia, adopted in Colombia and re-adopted in Ca.

mnottertail -> RE: Palin stonewalls release of public records. (1/4/2011 12:17:16 PM)

and the short form is released at your death. the point being?   I have my original birth certificate, and they are not of legal nature.

Well, I was going to get back into this, but seeing where the conversation is, and who the players are, I've decided against. Ya'll have fun though.

Hillwilliam -> RE: Palin stonewalls release of public records. (1/4/2011 6:08:48 PM)

but but but but Obama did it first, that means it's ok for Palin to do it. [:D]

Ya know William, I really do not care.  I still am not comfortable with the press being allowed to demand access to emails.  Or birthday cards or pen pal letters.

I do so love a good bit of revisionist history, but it will just have to wait.

You probably love it about as much as I love it when the losers cry "revisionist history," when their loss goes in the books, along with all of the reasons for it.

Oh, and for the record, I did vote, in Wasilla, Alaska no less, and I did not vote for EITHER of the major parties.

Go ahead and tell me I threw my vote away and that it was wasted.

In fact, I will go ahead and make my argument for why it was not. I believe that in exercising my 19th amendment rights- (yeah, that's right, I brought feminism into it too!) without compromising my conscience, morals, beliefs, and convictions - my vote was not only not wasted, but used in the best way possible.

So even though the person I voted for did not win, I still consider myself a winner because I didn't even attempt to aid in the election of someone not fit to be the president, either way you look at it.

Your profile says "Barstow, California."  You say that you cast a vote in "Wasillia's AK affairs."  This should perhaps be looked at.  Not a bunch of personal emails by anyone running.  An attempt to defraud the voter system is at least a crime.  Running for an office is not.

If you knew me, or more thoroughly perused my profile, perhaps to include my journal entries, you would know that I am a military spouse.

That said, during the election, over two years ago, I lived in Wasilla, AK (which is approximately 1 hour from Ft. Richardson, AK, an army base.. admittedly not the one he was stationed at, at the time.. but since he was in Iraq, I migrated SOUTH from Fairbanks, to the slightly warmer weather and more active city, but where I still had access to a military base for healthcare and grocery shopping)

Now, I live in Barstow, CA.. approximately 45 minutes from Ft. Irwin, CA

In case you weren't aware, people move... especially members of the military and their families! So please do not attempt to question my ethics, morals, how I vote, how I live, or anything else about me since you think a brief look at someone's profile is enough to tell you everything you need to know about them. I think at this point I have thoroughly enough explained myself to you and anyone else who may be concerned that I am entitled to an apology.

(Oh, and FYI, that lovely picture on the very front of my profile was actually taken IN WASILLA.)

If the short form says your adopted son was born anywhere but Columbia then it is a violation of the law and whoever issued it should be reported to law enforcement and if you have used it for any legal purpose you are guilty of a variety of felonies as well.

An amended certificate can be issued with the adopted child's new legal name, and new sex in the case of a sex change surgery, but the details of time and place of birth cannot be changed.

Thread Hijack

Running for office or being elected should not take away your privacy and allow the forth estate to demand your correspondence.  Suspicion of a crime, however, is reason for the legal arm to demand your correspondence.  I used your voting and location as an example of voter fraud.

I am sorry if that point was lost.

You are, as usual incorrect, at least as the law stood 23 years ago. All of the details of a birth certificate were permitted to be changed by court order in order to minimize the paper trail from birth parents to adoptive parents. It was more common for private adoptions but was available in any adoption case. I've got a 200 page legal file youre welcome to peruse, for the right price.

Why not just send me your identifying info so I can see if the statute of limitations has expired? Or were you just making shit up as usual?

My identifying info? What does that have to do with it. And I already offered you my son's legal file.

So I can report you to your local federal prosecutor for commiting immigration fraud.

I sort of doubt that.
I have my original too and it still has the sig of the hospital notary agent.
If it has no agency authentication then that may be correct, but you wont see that version in vital statistics

She will release those e-mails when Obama releases his birth certificate..

So you are okay with an elected official using delaying tactics then  ?
