...so patient and helpful towards newbie wankers? Despite having a well organized FAQ titled "READ THIS FIRST" at the top of the section, detailed profiles & journals on the other side reiterating most of the main points, and 3+ threads on the first page here at any given time where newbies violate the preceding and are corrected, many of you continue to take the time to try and set people straight. This seems like a Sisyphean Domme hell to me. I mean I appreciate reading all of the advice given, but how much can it really help your cause when you teach a tosser how to make it from one correspondence to two? I know taking on a project can be fun, but this just seems like a massive undertaking...

Well, it's not just the OPs who read and benefit from a thread. So, yeah, some wankers might learn something. But so might some genuinely nice guys who are shy about asking or hadn't considered a different approach.

I agree with what Aqua said. The deal is that just because somebody created a thread, that doesn't make it theirs. It stays in the archive. Believe it or not, some of the threads that give good information can be started by the worst trolls. Threads with themes like what can a person do on cam to get an online Domme or how does a person get creative with the CBT they want to perform on themselves get shot down pretty quickly. Most of the regulars here aren't interested in providing fantasy fun service for the wanker of the week (day..... hour..... whatever). Granted, some folks are really patient about certain topics. I admit that I'm not one of them. If someone comes across like a one handed typist, I'm not wasting My time. We're going through a period where we have a higher than average amount of that going. Lots of new people sign up to sites like this through the holiday period and that hasn't quite leveled off yet. Those folks will either fade away because they will come to the realization that most females here aren't looking for a quick sexual romp and many are interested in female led dynamics. Others may have started here due to an interest below their waist, but start to think there might be something more to this than their list of fetishes. A few guys had serious interest all along and just happened to create an account when the signal to noise ratio is working against them. They'll stay. In time, they become the valued contributors here from the male sub perspective. Actually, the male submissives who have been posting here for a while tend to get their fill of the wanker posts, too. So, just hang in there. As soon as the folks who had the impression that this place is just a way to find their quick kinky thrills realize that it really doesn't work that way..... That it's not Insta-Mistress to cater to their desires...... And that <gasp> it's not like the porn said it was going to be just because they created an account.... Things will get back to normal around here.

I, for one, really appreciate the patience and helpfulness! When I had an account here prior to my current one, I was one of the guys that stayed in the shadows and observed without really getting involved. Noticing the comments directed at some of the "newbie wankers" helped me evaluate what I was looking for on CM. I ended up dropping that account, took some time away from CM, and have now come back with a different (I would like to think more mature) mindset. So yeah, I appreciate the help offered to the "newbies" even if a large segment of that population won't listen.

I was one of the "newbie wankers" I guess. I didn't take the time to search the forums before posting my own, on an old name and the helpfulness from the other members of this site enlightened me to some mistakes that I was making unintentionally. I'm hoping because people had taken the time to help me not only will I find what I'm looking for here on CM, but maybe not make such silly errors in the future.

If they can help one wanker to reform their ways out of one-hundred then it is well worth it. See, it is not really helping the wankers out but helping themselves out. While at the same time seemingly being selfless. Ingenious! :P

There's a BIG signal-to-noise ratio on this site, starting with the non-femme-positive ads. So it's no surprise that it's hard for noobs to find a 'how do I?' thread, when WE can't search old posts. I'm actually shocked at how rude some replies are to some newbies; yes, there are wankers, but there are some real, and possibly really good, guys, too. And jeez, I wish this site were around when I was discovering lubbly subblies :-) and someone could have told me about strap-ons with vibes in the base about a decade earlier! So why not transmit positive information? There was a freshly minted virgin on here a little while ago, and it made my tattered heart sing to remember the first cherry ass I took. Ahhh, enlightened olds and eagers news . . . yet people called him on being angst-y, and insecure about his looks, and people recommended he go to a munch or see a pro! It was like seeing a cherubic nephew being led away by a retired crack ho to get rid of his virginity, or Malcolm McDowell's eyelids being held open: no, wait! he can meet a nice dommely girl in university! his guitar doesn't have to go up to 'eleven' quite yet! And just as I like to give positive messages, I wish someone had told me about the death threats and rape plans on here. So it's very common for new female members to freak just as I did, but very quickly there are multiple replies to reassure her that asshats and little pricks are alas part of the free service here. So, do unto others, as you wish you had been introduced to the site. And who knows, there can be that gold nugget in a newbie's heart :-)
