Humans Have Intentionally Modified Weather for Military Purposes and Climate Control for Decades Weather modification is a well-known endeavor. For example, governments have been seeding clouds for decades to create more rain.

Seeding clouds for rain has been done for decades and as far as I know, in order to produce rain, needed where the clouds are.

They also use chemicals to jam radars- that are not good for people.

Dr. Sam Beckett even did it on "Quantum Leap." 

I think that there was a guy on the Penn and Teller show that talked about some different ways to affect weather as well.

HEY, I'm the one who mentioned that in the other thread. So everybody jumps in while I'm at work.

Now don't anybody mention that underground nuclear testing acts as a giant subwoofer and changes the climate pattern(s). Hush up about the fact that every launch of a space shuttle destroyed as much of the ozone belt as if every ounce of freon 12 was expelled at once. And don't even think about our river that burned, because it is cold enough I'm thinking of lighting it up again.

Being a half century old (never thought I'd make it), it is amazing to know all the technology that already existed before I was born. Nuclear fission, satellites, TV, computers (not quite what we have today) and a whole lots of other things. Electronic ignition, fuel injection, inductive heating, electric cars, and a whole lot more I can't even think of right now. The technology boom happened between about 1935 and 1975. The rest is mostly new applications of older inventions, not much more, really.
