Beverlies had a lot of cute fabric but they're Hellas expensive at 10 dollars a yard.

Pink kitty, yup , I miss walmart carrying fabric, you could get some nice stuff at 2 an 3 dollars a yard sometimes.

I'm lucky we have 3 Wal-Marts 2 in Valdosta one in Tifton. All 3 still carry fabric. Not as broad a range as they used to though. But we also have a Hobby Lobby and a Michaels so if I can't get what I need at Wal-Mart I have those stores to fall back on.

Pinkkitty our Michaels doesn't sell fabric and are way over priced on some items. Take for instance a thing of glitter glue, walmart sells it for 1.97 but michael's wanted 5 bucks for exact same thing.

hm. $10/metre means the fabric is on sale, $18-$22 is normal, $26 is not unheard of. when i go back, i'm not allowed to fondle the fabric and whimper at how cheap it is. apparently last time i did it, there was a price rise shortly thereafter [:D]
