ORIGINAL: Aneirin INTP- Architect, not really surprised, I used to work as an architect technician. Which also possibly explains why I struggle so with the academia on an applied arts degree course, whereas the practical and design stuff, I excel at even to the point of mathematicaly working out how something will be before I make it and with that other's wingeing when what they make turns out not to be what they envisaged and mine does. My motivation for what I make is cost, I am skint and materials are expensive, so I calculate so as not to waste materials and there money. Sometimes the math is that I don't know, so I research the correct formulae, learn how to apply it and then apply it to the job in hand, even thermodynamics for my jewellery forge design, the result, I know it will work, the math proves it and my examiners have to agree before they see the design constructed and tested. I have been called an engineer artist, two disciplines in total opposite direction to each other, but it is all about acceptance and application.
