Where did I go wrong? Judging by my research, I would say about the time I was 13. 13 was a very formative year for me. I moved into my parent’s basement and was on my way to high school. While I was cleaning up in the basement one day, I found something that would change my sexual outlook. I found a new pair of panties with matching bra. They were green, silky and still had the tags on them. I was rather smitten by them and it wasn’t long before I was masturbating to them and in them. This is really the first time I discovered cross-dressing. I knew it was a deviancy but I rationalized it by saying it was my way of getting closer in touch with women and I figured that Tim Curry still looked cool doing in ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show.’ Eventually I began raiding my moms and sisters drawers for new things to wear. Living in the basement was nice, I was right by the laundry room. I had easy access to lots of hot little numbers. I’m 24 now and a little older and wiser. I know it’s tough to be a youngster getting into this scene. I hope some young sissy boys might find this and maybe it will help them out a bit. Here are some hints and tips on cross-dressing sensibly, affordably and sexily.

Where can one get new girly clothes? There is only so long you can rely on your mom and your sister for your frilly things and what about kinkier garb like leather and latex. I have found that the Hot Topic clearance rack is a great place to pick up some hot little outfits. Online shopping was practically non-existent in my early days discovering myself. It’s a great way to pick up an outfit without having the embarrassment of actually going to the store (if you’re still in the closet about it, that is.) Hot Topic Online (hottopic.com) is a perfect place to start. It’s a junior fetishists dream. They have skirts, dresses, tops and all sorts of stockings, panties and bras. They carry lots of gothic things, leather, latex, lace and most of it is black. The clearance rack is absolutely fantastic, especially if you’re a youngster on a busboy salary. The prices are very affordable and the sizing simple. Like I said, an excellent place to start your shopping.

Shoes can be a bit tougher. The way to find your size in a women’s shoe is to add two to your men’s size. I wear a size 9 in men’s, which translates to an 11 in women’s. Most normal places will carry a women’s 11-size shoe. That is usually the cut off for Hot Topic and that’s perfect for me. For you bois with big feet (and we know what that means), it can be a problem. A great place I found online is Queen Fashions. (http://www.queenfashions.com/) They carry an assortment of sizes and styles and it is all very affordable. I’ve made some excellent buys. One can also try a place like Pay-Less. They do tend to carry larger sizes at affordable prices. Embarrassed? Just say you’re picking them up for your aunt.

How can you decide what to buy? The obvious answer is whatever is sexy. The way I do my shopping for girly clothes is how most real girls would. Sensibly. I like to try and pick a color scheme and stick with it. I generally go for red and black. They are two of my favorite colors and just seem to ooze sex appeal. The key is to make sure everything you own matches and it’s even better if it’s interchangeable.

Body hair can be a very tricky issue. I’m a hairy beast. I don’t know why I picked cross-dressing as a fetish. It would have been a lot easier to go gay and get into the whole bear thing. I however do remove most of my body hair in one form or another. I get my eyebrows done as a rule. Even guys who don’t dress as girls should. They tend to get out of control. You can get an eyebrow wax from 5 upwards to about 15 dollars. Don’t be embarrassed, the ladies will thank you. Nair is a viable option for removing everything else, as is shaving. Nair goes for about $6 bucks a bottle and is worth it. If you’re looking for something a little more permanent waxing is another route you can go. The bigger salons usually charge about $40 for back or chest and $25 for arms or legs. It’s a little pricier but the back wax is definitely worth it.

I hope that this little article was helpful to some of you youngsters out there. It’s up to you now to get up and get all did up. It’s not all that expensive to put together a decent, hot fetish wardrobe. It is possible to do this all discreetly and on the cheap. Get sexy kids!

the few makeup tips I'd have is, try and be natural about it. I know its kinda me stereotyping CD's, but that typical look I think of.. bright red lipstick, lots of eye makeup concealer and blush(wtf blush?) packed on is pretty horrid.

try something a little more natural?, eyeliner is fine, lipliner and lipgloss are fine..

it really isnt very easy to give makeup advice though, since what looks good differs from person to person.

I'm always being asked. What type of concealer do you use to cover the hair? LIKE I KNOW? I realize I am cd friendly. A person is a person to me. I can care less if they are a man in a dress. I really have no clue what type of make up covers the 5 o'clock shadow though.

Dermablend and Kryolan's DermaColor both work very well to cover beard shadow.

I'd suggest for those seeking a support group and a resource type of site for learning how to transform themselves better that they take a peek at a site some of my local friends started - it was started to hellp others local to us, but it's been extending globally to help at least online, to let others have a place they can call home with some really sincerely good hearted folks that are just really good people.

I don't see the cliqueishness I see happen in other spheres here, maybe that's because it is relatively new, but maybe it will never have that type of politics and drama, one can hope.

Just some really nice people.

Thanks for the info Stef and Shade. I've got it all bookmarked for the next time someone asks me about it.
For some odd reason collarme has been seriously messed up for me the past few days. So been hard to respond to anything.
