Enough about Larry and my udder bruder Larry and the rest of the Hee Haw clan from the compound. This part of the show annoys me. Anyone else ?   I’d rather see the dynamics of the three households, neighbors and some more kink worked in.   Its getting old fast

That is one of the points discussed in the thread.

However, it would seem more likely to connect polyamory and polgyny than it would polygyny and "general bdsm."

My God... I avoided the poly boards now (and I'm poly) because I can't bear to hear one more word about that show... and it's followed me to the general board... someone please just shoot me....

I agree, I've had enough of the Roman Grant bullshit.  And Bill has been a dumass about that from the beginning.  He should take a few strategy lessons from Tony Soprano.

I'm kinda surprised at how much I'm enjoying the show, honestly.

But if I were the husband I'd have gotten a good lawyer and take the old guy to court over the buisness stuff. Also, while I get that it's a non-traditional situation, he's not doing anything illegal as far as I can tell. Sure, he lives with three women, but (I think) he's only legally married to one. Is extramarital sex still illegal in Utah?

I enjoy the show in as much as it does at least broach the subject of poly relationships, but I do for the most part find it rather lame.
I'd like to do a show called "Tough Love" all about the BDSM lifestyle ...  [sm=crop.gif]

It is a show, showing the life of a polygamist family and their roots...........has nothing to do with polyamory as they are two different things..........As to kink, well then maybe HBO should do a show about a polyamorous household if ya want the kink.........

I agree..Bill should have taken some lessons from Tony Soprano. But he did the legal thing and Roman did it right back.  The dad is one of the dirtiest underhanded characters in the story.  He's out for self.  I'm waiting to see what he does with Nikki after finding out about the credit card stuff.  Seems she's just as manipulative and sneaky as her father.
 
And it is just a tv show and this is just a message board and these are all just our own opinions! LOL.
