I've gone to see the movie Hero twice already, and expect to go again next week. I expected it would just be a historical Chinese war and martial arts romp; instead it was the most visually striking film I've ever seen. Even my 85 year old mother said the martial arts scenes were like ballet.

I could go on and on with my rave review, or try to use a benchmark -- in my opinion, Hero makes Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon look like a student film.

I've never even heard of that movie before today. Thanks for the heads up. Too bad I didn't live closer to you, I'd say, "let's go". :o)

My daughter gave us movie passes for our anniversary, maybe we should go see that one. Normally we only go out to movies on Xmas eve with the kids-- a family tradition for over 20yrs. Thanks for the recommedation.[:)]
