I know this isn't quite the same thing, but I thought it might still offer encouragement. I do offer my sympathy as well. Any failed relationship is painful. I met my husband on-line at a RPG. We've been married 4 years and are still quite committed. While I'm not looking to interact sexually with anyone but him (I state this quite clearly in my profile. I'm NOT here to break anyone's heart), we do need training. Our situation is just weird (1 bedroom sub and 1 who's interested in service and obedience) and if we want to do much, we'll both need to learn how to Switch. Most folks are looking for subs that will belong to them. We're looking for a Dom/Domme who is willing to be compassionate enough to offer help to two people who are trying to explore in a non-typical way. But I digress. Deltafire, I know where you're coming from, I've started relationships with a few slaves with the understanding that they'd visit several times & eventually they'd relocate... Then come the excuses, reassurances yes this is real to me and Etc Etc but not right now... Finally it comes out "oh I can't leave here I'm too rooted... Why the fuck not say so up front, are they so desperate for a Dom/mes attn. that they have to resort to playing online games??? I've learned from being crashed a few times to believe nothing from online as there are mostly posers, players & wannabes... I think W/e all have to get tougher skins...

All i can say is....1-shit happens 2-mean people do indeed suck 3- not cool to play with anyone's feelings/emotions 4-she'll get hers 5-Dahhhhling sorry this happened to you-i've read some of your posts. you don't seem like the type to deserve this kind of treatment. I've met more than my share of fakes on this site. I find it hard to find persons to help me grow and learn as a domme/cuckoldress simply because there are so many fakes on here. All they want is some wild kinky sex and that is all. It's frustrating and gets old fast. I'd punch a wall too....shit's infuriating.

Ive only ever met 1 person on line. (years ago before the web was even a big thing - thru a BBS) everyone else Ive met, have been thru 'munches' or coffees... you get the chance to really meet someone at these events, even if it is 'speed dating' for the kink set...

I've met a few people online, some interesting, some that would make for great fun, in a sadistic, abusive sense... the longer and longer bd/sm stays online, the more and more empty arrogance I run face first into... Even at munches and such, with everything being face to face, you can be deceived. My ex waited 2 years before he tried to hit me one night, and that was only because I was hot and got up to get water. He started ranting, raving, and finally punched his fist through a large glass mirror. To everyone else outside, he was a perfectly sweet and gentle man, until you pissed him off, then he had no control.
