There is no tool that allows a poster to delete their own thread.
However, you do have a certain time frame in which you can edit what you've posted.
Go to your thread and you will see in the upper right corner of the box a button for editting.

Thread posts can be edited by the poster up to an hour before that option becomes closed.
No thread can be removed unless authorised by Admin.
