as some of you know...my recent weeks were quite...challenging...and I was still waiting for my uni result as I had to resubmit one work which I screwed up big time last summer (really couldn't blame them for having me failed on that one, even when I would have preferred to...).
Anyhow, today I contacted the Director from the Programme I studied to ask him when the panel will meet in January to discuss my degree and he

and even told me the outcome [:D][:D][:D]

as he wrote

Dear xxxxxxxxxxx,

Thanks for your message.

The Board was held last Friday and I am very pleased to be able to tell you that your resubmitted Integrated Project passed. You will receive a letter very shortly confirming this formally but I am entitled to pass this information on to you as Director of the BA Programme.

Well done!

Thank you everyone, I am just glad on a level I can't describe. Due to my recent job loss, just after I had finished my dissertation, pressure was even more on now to get that degree and I had way too much time on my hands to keep rethinking about my dissertation due to being at home at the moment. I am incredible grateful that the director informed me about the outcome already, even when I had only asked about the day when the panel will meet to decide my outcome....now life feels so much easier again as in my degree there is no lack of jobs over here (back home it is, sadly) so now I have "only" *snort* to work on my grammar to try to avoid getting for that into trouble with my future employer [&:][:D]

And thanks stevie, but no Dr. title here...only the BA (hons) degree and as I don't have A-levels, thats more than enough for me now....did 3 qualifications, and have enough of it for the time beeing [:)]

Thank you Greedy, Indeed it is a huge relief, that it paid off at last. If he would not have told me I would still not know about it, as today I still hadn't received their confirmation letter. I am so glad that I asked for their meeting day yesterday and that he then told me about it, as I would hate to potentially go home for over a week and not knowing where I stand. Now I can finally apply for the jobs who truly interest me [:)]

thank you everhope, oh yes, I am, was quite a bumpy ride last year but thankfully worked all out at the end...tonight I am going to enjoy a bottle of sparkling stuff which I got at the christmas celebration from a colleague on placement in 2009...as I barely drink alcohol I decided at that time to enjoy it once I know its over :o) and thats the case now :o)

Awesome Pheonix, you must be so happy. i know that the afternoon of my thesis defense last week, i had a problem keeping the corners of my mouth out of my ears, hope you have the same one for weeks to come!
