I have three.
“Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.”
“Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.”
“All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think we become.”

one of my favourite ones is a bit difficult to explain...as I know only the german translation from a japanese phrase...however it is somewhat like:

"who believes to be someone, stops to become someone." It was a common one when I did karate as a teenager and was kind of about when you believe to be good at the stage where you are then you stop to continue to improve...and that also fits to daily live but I got it from that time...

another one from that time was "water is turning cold when you stop reheating it" which was often referred to that the skills you developed over time are not as good anymore a few years later if you stop to continue to practice....these days I like to refer to it in regards to "trust".

and another one I like is "there are always two sides to every story AND on top of it the truth." [:)]

For flavour, instant sex will never supersede the stuff you have to peel and cook.
Quentin Crisp

Applies to tons of things. Always makes me smile widely when I dwell on that quote.

The cure for anything is salt water – sweat, tears, or the sea. – Isak Dinesen

"Everything worth knowing leaves bruises."

"Sex is one of the most personal things we do as people. To have someone who says that they love you and limit how you express yourself in the bedroom is a small death. It kills the soul."

Truth is something that can change as your needs change.

"Do not presume to take the role of a God to me, if you are not prepared to also accept the responsibilities of being that God."

I know who I am. No one else knows who I am. If I was a giraffe, and someone said I was a snake, I'd think, no, actually I'm a giraffe.

"Hearts will never be practical until they can be made unbreakable." ~Wizard of Oz

The two best teachers are love and pain.

I myself am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions.

Some of my favorite quotes are in my sig line. But I'll add:

"It's no fun unless you're afraid."

"If you can't be brave, be determined as it will get you to the same place."

"You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him dance on a grand piano in a pink tutu."

"There are far worse things than being alone, girls."--my Great-Aunt Lola after her marriage to Mr Philips.

In this galaxy there’s a mathematical probability of three million Earth-type planets. And in the universe, three million million galaxies like this. And in all that, and perhaps more...only one of each of us. - Dr 'Bones' McCoy

^ i like that one :)
Obviously, looking at the bigger picture, when you consider infinate parallel universes, there are an infinate number of each of us, but it kind of takes away from the magic.
