I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. You've brought tears of joy to my eyes, and I'm thankful to have the friends here that I do.
Small b'day dinner last night with my landlady, her daughter and boyfriend, the first time I haven't celebrated by myself in 7 years. It was a lot of fun and if I ever figure out how to d/l a pic from my phone to my PC, I will. They made me wear a silly b'day hat with fake candles and "over the hill" written on it. Got a big laugh out of me.
This is just icing on the cake as my dad called last night and I spent today sleeping and reading in bed. And ok, I'm spechul, I was all upset that my dad hadn't called me yesterday, then about 2pm realized that my b'day wasn't until today. That's why I'm the honey roasted pecan I am.
