This has been a very amusing thread.

I do have to say, the guy has at least not stomped off in a huff promising to never return, and he's been polite despite the heavy fire he's taken. All in all, I'd say he's been a good sport, even with all the back-pedalling.

My only advice, OP, is to learn this simple phrase: "I concede."
"I surrender," works too - sometimes - as well as the age old classic, "Uncle."

Jay, let Me help you out here.  Out of the kindness of My heart, I'm going to explain some things to you.  (Just so you know, you should read very slowly so it will sink in.)

You're on a site where people have various interests in authority dynamics and BDSM.  That stands for bondage, discipline, sadism, and masochism.  Personally, I am a sadist.  That means I literally enjoy people suffering.  When clueless people come along and in their ignorance and ineptitude, and they get nailed on it, I like it.  People who make fools of themselves or do stupid things, I'm having fun with that.  The person who humiliates themselves in doing so, even better.  Any personal distress that you have incurred by pulling this stupid stunt just makes the part of Me that enjoys mental or emotional discomfort in others happy.  I like seeing other people endure any kind of torture, even little stuff like this.

(Quick side note here.  Masochists will often enjoy the pain of others as well, because they know what it is like to have a similar experiences and they get off on that.)

Now, just because I am a sadist and certainly have enjoyed the squirming and the back peddling that you've done with your little attempt here, I don't want you to be completely squashed under a heel like a little bug.  Really, really, and truly........  Don't attempt to play the 'I've done all these wild things' card.  You're way out of your league to be trying to pull that game with people on this site.  From the way you have phrased certain things on this thread, you just ain't ready to sit at the big kid's table yet.
