That right there is a great deal! Everyone should take advantage of it!

Yep... see Ron, I told you I was a professional. I was still wearing my tie while brokering this deal.

You don't think they are whores? Then what is the difference between a pro and a whore? They both do sexual things for cash. And let's face it. In that business arrangement the sub is in charge. If the pro doesn't fulfill the subs desires the pro doesn't get paid.

Why would it matter if pros were whores? You're saying this like it's bad to be a whore, what's so bad about a whore? It's just another service, one that I wouldn't particularly care to do but geez what's the difference between being a whore or any other service profession? So whores supply sex instead of bringing food that you've ordered, drycleaning your clothes, or pumping gas- big whoop de doo.

You're trying to make the pro-Dommes look bad but for crap's sake they wouldn't be around without the hordes of submissive men just like you that pay them to do what they do. Supply and demand, without the demand the pros wouldn't exist so go point your finger somewhere else. Hmmm, maybe try complaining about the sub men with open wallets -they are really the ones who are inconveniencing you.

Thanks Troll  [:)]
The whole double standard thing always gets my undies in a bundle. Whores are dirty and nasty and johns are not? I"ve been a waitress many times in my life, providing what your customer wants is the same act at the base of it no matter what the details are. And why is it so bad if someone wants to get laid and takes a business like approach to it on either end?

It kills me that there are so many men complaining about the pro Dommes without wondering why the heck the pros are around. Honestly, it's not rocket science.

FukinTroll -> RE: Too many "Professionals"? (1/19/2011 9:12:23 PM)

I agree with you one hundred percent. Anyone dealing with the public is all about selling themselves, that is just the way the world wobbles.

DykeNoir -> RE: Too many "Professionals"? (1/20/2011 11:16:16 AM)

There are far too many young women claiming to be pros.
Have seen them as young as 18, many of who demand tribute immediately. Youth and blackmail do not a Domme make

This is a link to a thread that I created before you signed up here (at least according to the joining date for your screen name).  You might be interested in it.  Why Just Pros?

ETA - The link isn't attaching, but if you use the search feature for that title and Me as the author, you should be able to find it.

Doesn't work at all, just tried to look for it...

This one works.  "Why Just Pros" is the title of the thread.

I think there are an amazing number of such individuals here, and their attitudes suck (full of narcissism), demanding "tribute".  I am surely no expert on pro-dommes, but that sort of attitude indicates that the individuals are NOT pro.

To be honest, if you get upset about a profile, just hide it, it's really as simple as that. But oddly enough the guys who complain about professionals and make a stink about it, are the very same ones who complain that they don't get any action, so of course they blame the professionals. Nobody forces anybody to see a professional, where's the big deal? What I find funny is that I often saw life-style people asking professionals for help and getting it, on the other hand they then think they can still look down on them. Quite a lot of the professionals are very skilled and take great care of themselves, and a lot of the hatred being directed from them seems to come from people who are everything but attractive and who don't think they need to work on their skills.

I'm not talking about the kiddies who demand upfront presents or gifts to talk to you, but if you are going to a professional for a service, it seems to be quite normal to pay for it, it doesn't matter if you call it tribute or a fee, if you don't expect your massage therapist, your lawyer or your plumber to work for free. I notice skilled life stylers never seem to have a problem with professionals...

Thank you LadyPact. I enjoyed the thread although I felt kind of weird because basically the posts on that thread said what I said...first. Lol. Ah well, it's always nice to know that others feel the same way.

The thread LadyPact posted made some good points on this subject and you're right...the rude, inexperienced ones that hang out a shingle to capitalize on a burgeoning market are not pros. It's funny though, the complainers tend to call the pretenders pros as well as the ones who actually deserve the title- they don't seem to know the difference. They just want their 'needs' attended to, doesn't really matter who does it as long as the person doing it does it exactly the way they want it.

Another interesting aspect is that the complainers don't seem to realize that their best bet IS a pro. A lifestyle Domme who was looking for a partner would hardly want them with their gimme attitude and petulance.

Firebirdseeking -> RE: Too many "Professionals"? (1/21/2011 7:18:45 PM)

The ones I have noticed are, as I said before, appallingly narcissistic; they are all about themselves, are young, attractive, yes, but the attitude is YOU OWE ME.

Personal opinion is that these individuals have confused a couple of things; they may be spoiled brats, they may be prostitutes soliciting here under the guise of being pro dommes.  Demanding payment - tribute - for no particular reason other than their inflated opinion of themselves is not "pro" anything - except "pro" themselves.
