Does anyone but me think that they are, just maybe, too many "Pro Doms" on CollarMe? It seems like every other profile I read. It's start out normal and then at the bottom it says "tributes expected" or "Amazon gift cards". Even more bothersome than that is the thought that there actually might be people paying for these "services". So how about it? Opinions? Thoughts?

I think there are alot of pro Dommes, however, there are a few that I believe are the real thing. Im not talking about the lil 19 yr olds who think they are DOmmes demanding money. I mean the real deal. now to Me, those are few. I think there are alot of women who just want money and have no clue how to be a professional. I also think there is absolutely nothing wrong with a pro Domme. for instance, if a man who travels for his biz is outta town and felt like a session, he may not know any Dommes in that area. By seeing a pro Domme, he doesnt have to know her, he can simply set up an appt. I also hate the ass hats on this site who think they are whores and prostitutes, etc. They are not. I read once, a guy said, "who is actually the one incharge. the sub who is paying for a service or the Domme who is doing what the sub wants?" That isnt right either, as a real pro Domme does what she wants, and a real sub will gladly accept it or move on. so I have no issues with pro Dommes, but I do hate what these teenie boppers are doing to the name of pro Dommes.

and this is not the place for it

it would seem to me a good pro wouldn't need or want to hawk on CM

They don't bother me although the rude approach that many of them take gets old. Seems to me that they provide a necessary service or they wouldn't be in business.

Yes, there are in fact other whiners who think as you do.  Use the Search feature to find their hundreds of posts.

Because Craigs list is so full of real people speaking only the truth about themselves, I'm sure it can be frustrating for a gentlemanly fan such as yourself to be on a free website where people misrepresent themselves.

Best,

Oddly enough, the number of pros doesn't bother Me in the least.  While I'm sure it's frustrating  for submissive males who are actually looking for relationship partners, rather than just play time, I tend to see it from the other side as well.  Folks who are just looking for bottom experiences (the dreaded do-me types) spend their time on those profiles instead of bothering Me quite so much.  For a lifestyle Domme like Me, that turns out to be a benefit..

Wouldn't that be nice? But unfortunately a lot of the "do-me" types tend to not care a lot and they are freaking out at the thought that they should pay for getting their fantasy fulfilled. How many do-mes do show up regularly with "no fakes or professionals" but a list of what the dommes should do to them?

Opinion? This is a FREE site, so for the price of your admission (which is exactly NOTHING) should include a list of women that are all eager to meet somebody who's been on the site for a whole 7 days and already complains that he has to click a profile away... I can't imagine that any woman sees that as a very attractive trait...

Maybe you have better luck on Craig's list...

As someone who is new to the community I don't know how valid my opinion is in the scheme of things but to me Pro-Dommes on here aren't a problem as they are only offering a service and they've never been forceful! The biggest problem I have is as LadyConstanze says there is a wave of young girls who don't offer real-time and say they are online only yet they still demand money for their "services". Fair enough that some subs may like the feeling of emptying their wallets to a stranger but that certainly isn't for me and the number of Dommes doing this is really off-putting especially as the Dommes doing it are around my age and are potentially the kind I would've liked to have met!

I wouldn't know.  I honestly don't do much profile reading because I find that I'm more successful meeting play partners and such through events.  I'm just looking at it from a numbers angle.  Even for folks who try the buckshot approach (which has been reduced greatly due to the spam filter) only have so much time to send those messages out.  More female profiles here reduce the chance of them being sent to Me, which suits Me just fine.

Look, if it doesn't do anything for you, don't do it, additionally CM has a message up in bright red, saying you shouldn't send money to strangers...

Now you're miffled because the ones around your age doing it are potentially the kind you would have liked to have met... Well, since you're not into what they are into, you're incompatible, if you're not into pain, you won't do all that well with a sadist, but would you demand that all sadists are being chased off?

Yes the "Give me money, you worm" profiles can be annoying, but what's wrong with just skipping them?

I was not even talking about the mails, I was talking about the posts that were up in the Ask A Mistress section or in Introductions... The other profiles don't seem to stop the do-mes from expecting attention and being catered to. I recall there were several threads lately on how to find somebody who will do activity .... or who will be dominant on demand, but all were followed with "no fakes or professionals"

I understand that and I don't waste my time on their profiles any longer than I need to. Likewise I'm not asking that people offering such "cash disposal services" should be removed as they have as much right to be on CM as anyone else - I was just whining that whereas maybe 1 in 20 Dommes on here above the age of 25 are online only but tributed it seems that only 1 in 20 below that age AREN'T just interested in money and it does get rather disheartening when I want to meet someone genuine! It's a vicious circle - you can't get noticed by older Dommes because you're too young and inexperienced no matter how fast you may learn and because you're too young you can't gain the experience... oh the joys of being a newbie in such a world haha

Actually your experience has nothing to do with it for most of us, I'm simply not interested in a guy of 22, even if you had all the experience in the world, if it is biologically possible that I could have given birth to you, I'm not interested because it would feel like cradle snatching to me.

Seriously, instead of looking online, go and find a munch, you increase your chances a lot, plus you are in London, there's plenty of activity going on.

Thanks for the advice! I suppose I hadn't really looked at it in that light. I am actually looking to go to a munch or a club - it's just a scary thought at first and I wanted someone to go with but I suppose that's the wrong way round :S Watch this space!

Munch is different than a party, at parties definitely take a wing man or wing woman with you, easier to meet people this way, at munches people just sit and talk and they are not dressed up, you can get to know them and ease yourself in.
