no, Aylee already pointed out that Palin quiting helped the people of Alaska.

There was a good reason, and it took character for her to step down.

Now, THERES a vote of confidence. The governor flat quits and walks away to take a book deal and it's a good thing for the citizens of the state.

[:D]

why should the people of Ak suffer, because of the irrational hate of the Democrats?

Charles6682 -> RE: Sarah Palin - the anti-Cheney? (1/20/2011 9:58:11 PM)

I say just for fun,I think Sarah Palin should run for President in 2012.That will only make getting Barack Obama re-elected that much easier!

I'm not a Democrat. I just think she's a dipshit.

luckydawg -> RE: Sarah Palin - the anti-Cheney? (1/20/2011 10:12:25 PM)

ok the hate of people like you. who are not democrats.

Hillwilliam -> RE: Sarah Palin - the anti-Cheney? (1/20/2011 10:20:03 PM)

What can I say? If someone is a dipshit, I'm not gonna withhold that info and WUUUUUUUUUVE DEM just because they have a (D) or an (R) after their name.

If they aren't intelligent, they need to be doing menial labor, not running the damn country.

sure you know her.

Your not reguritating what you are told.

It's ok, you can do that.

You're right, I'm not. I'm independently reacting to her speeches. her attitude, her knowledge and her actions.

Leadership material, she ain't. When the going gets tough, the tough dont run like hell and sign a book deal.
re: Her whining about "The media don't liiike meeeee" WTF does she think would happen if she was president?

I can't wait to see her hand wringing when the allegations come out that hubman was Ecrewing around with the owner of a "massage business". Yes I know it was the enquirer and they have all the facts straight just like wilbur does but they DID break the Tiger Woods story.

Sure, you listened to a whole speech of hers.

Right.

When one runs for office, one automatically agrees to the term of service specified. She quit because she could make a hell of a lot more money as a talking head with no responsibilty.

I don't even understand the point she was trying to make with that statement.

I wanted to point out I meant that I didn't understand what Palin meant by that statement.

Lucylastic -> RE: Sarah Palin - the anti-Cheney? (1/21/2011 4:24:59 AM)

I bet Gabrielle Giffords isnt a quitter. Should she quit for the sake of arizonas population because of irrational hate?
I have a feeling that woman (Ms Giffords)  has more balls than to use that as an excuse. I hear she is standing and went outside yesterday.SHE has a remarkable NON quitting character in my opinion.

Yes I have, especially in the early days when she appeared, because of good packaging, to really be something good. As time went on she just seemed to be depart more from what her handlers intended.
When the Tea party first emerged, I had REALLY high hopes for it until it just became a tool of the far right. The problem is that they dont even realize they are a tool and being used as such.
There. I'll keep it civil as long as you refrain from attacking My personal integrity.

She's a quitter with no qualifications necessary to become even a VP.

Umm. . . she has enough fricking guts to say "the haters are going to cost my state a helluva lot of money, so I will short-circuit them by leaving." is actually pretty commendable.

Clinton was not willing to do the same.

What exactly is it that you want?  Someone who caves or someone that believes in themselves?

That is absolutely hysterical!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone who believes in herself enough to quit what she committed herself to.

Absolutely priceless.

So you are obviously furious with Obama for quitting as Senator?

You can't possibly be this dense, you just like to stir up things with ridiculous nonsense.

Did Bush quit as Governor when he became President?

Would McCain have quit as Senator if he had been elected?

It is a big difference from going to a higher office and just quitting because she had a temper tantrum.

Amen to this (and Giffords is on her way to rehab!! Yay!!)!!

luckydawg -> RE: Sarah Palin - the anti-Cheney? (1/21/2011 1:08:19 PM)

that is so backassward its funny. Giffords is loved, not hated.

No one is punishing Arizona because of her.

Its not comparable in anyway.
