ORIGINAL: RiotGirl LOL i cant think of any Dominant kneeling i can! Once, after i had confessed that my emotions were just not lining up with how i wanted to behave on a certain topic, i was reminded it's ok to be angry, as long as it is expressed in a respectful way. Then He knelt down on the floor beside me and said "Now, talk out ALL the hurdles you have to settling this issue, I'm listening. I understand. When you're finished getting it all out, we can be done with it." i talked and wept and got out all my conflicting emotions about that topic, while He knelt there and nodded and allowed me to settle myself. After wringing it out, i was able to lay aside the barriers to my obedience and move forward. i am reminded how lucky i am, and i am convinced no Master ever stands so tall as when He kneels to comfort a slave. A Good Leader doesn't have to use physical positions of superiority to demonstrate His authority. There is some measure of greatness when one doesn't have to strike a pose to know their place. That said, there are plenty of times when Dominants defer to a submissives' wider knowledge of a subject, or expertise in one area, and those Dominants who are employees do some bowing down within the hierarchy of workplace. Everybody kneels in some way, someplace, sometime. (gender-flip if needed, your mileage may vary, objects in mirror may be closer than they appear)
