PA,

I am torn over things like this.  I now there are construction workers who have been out of work and need the money.  But, once you sell the tools it takes away an avenue for you to pick up any work that may come along.

We had a guy one morning trying to sell his stuff in the Home Depot parking lot.  We did buy some buckets of dry wall mud and things like that off of him but neither of us would buy his tools.  I just felt like I was taking too much away from him if I bought them.

FL,   I hear you.

Tools are something-  that I won't part with.  Not that I have good ones... but- they are around for repairs.

I will never sell a tool, but there have been a few tools in my life that I gladly parted company with.

( for the yanks who may not know the terminology tool is another word for idiot )
