Hi there

Thanks MasterFire for the link, some of things in there were quite interesting.

To the rest of you: quite being so rude to the new members :P I wasn't asking for a personal, detailed, in-depth recap of your activities, just an overview for ideas. Isn't this the proper median to share those kind of things?

Was thinking of something to write here, so took a look at your profile to see exactly what you were looking for "bedroom kink only" which is cool... I get the cynicism and the idea someone is looking for fantasy material. But I am not quite getting the disapproval and amazement at those who did or would write about a session. There are lots of reasons to share something personal or intimate. It might be a way to process it for yourself, an effort to celebrate it, a way of getting feedback from others, part of an exhibitionist streak, or you might actually believe others might glean something from your experience. If you are not comfortable sharing, then there is no need to do so. People share intimate details all the time on this board -- from relationship woes to scene details and so on. Is it just the way the question is posed or the writing style/method it was answered?

I am genuinely curious.

If he is looking for ideas on how to set a scene up for a submissive and ideas for this why not post either in the "Ask a Master" forum or in the General one? It seems he wanted us to discuss our scenes with other dominants and yes that is a kinda personal thing to do ... especially since many are owned.

In my experience it is the Top that directs the scene, so perhaps they would have more insight for the info he says he wants... just the way I thought about it... But I could be wrong.

...what is the matter with sharing personal things? I find that by sharing deeply personal moments I can, in part, relive them, I can think about and consider them and thus allow them to grow in their influence over me, and I can share with people something that helped shape me as the person I am. Now, I can understand people that are reluctant to share personal events, but I see no reason to avoid if when there is no reluctance involved.

Talking about fun things is fun. Just because the fun things were also emotionally significant does not mean I should no longer talk about them.

I've always just viewed it as highly suspect when someone comes into a discussion group or other forum, and the first question asked is a request for scene descriptions or other such personal information of a highly sexual/physical nature.
