Sometimes life necessitates that we be vanilla and sometimes it indulges us and allows us to be who we are in spite of society's standards and expectations. Right now Our darling pet is 700 miles away and we are driving to see her every weekend. We pack every ounce of BDSM we have into those hours we get with her and sometimes I find I dont have anything but Vanilla to give to her simply because I am sick and tired (I am ill and have severe epilepsy) and the drive wore us out, and social obligations ect ect... I dont think it is wrong to mix in a bit of Vanilla into our daily lives and dont feel the need to be 100% D/s 24/7. I think it just is the way we live, not an on off switch. Would I go back? I dont know that there is anything to go back to. I have always been this way. A loving cruel sadistic bitch. The only difference now is I got some training with the implements I beat people with.

Hot.
Intelligent.
Kinky.

Choose two of these.

The initials spell "HIK."

That's gotta mean something.

Remember, all your Highlander references are belong to me.

What you say?

Would you ever go back to the vanilla lifestyle?

Yeah, I did...I realized I'm far more of a 'bottom' than a 'sub' and my lifestyle is very vanilla.

Yes I could. I was married and vanilla for 29 yrs. As a widow, I have learned about kink, and enjoyed some of it. My age though makes it hard to do a lot of different types of kink. In my life though I need a dominant partner. Late husband was very much so, and we thrived very well together.

I know what I am looking for in a man. It doesn't matter what label is put on him or his lifestyle.

Except for sharing me with his best friend on occasion, my husband is quite vanilla.  Any attempts to make him otherwise have proved laughable.  But I'm a happy wife, so it doesn't matter.

Why on earth would I want to? Much to boring and to much a case like the song "Little Boxes"......Mind you, I can play the mundane man when it is requited for business or political purposes. Just as I do not rub the various Christian folks who are friends, faces in my Pagan beliefs and nor would I when and if I visit a very Christian spiritual and artistically gifted lady whose posts I love reading here, thrusting my pagan views in her face. It just would not be cricket at all.
