KenDckey -> Creating Criminals (1/23/2011 4:56:16 AM)

So I was sitting here pondering about the creation of criminals thru obamacare - just as he promised in his campaign (promise kept).  Anyway,  If someone aids criminals isn't that a criminal conspiracy?   And if it is a criminal conspiracy to give aid and comfort to law breakers, then why aren't those that support the illegal aliens not prosecuted?   Any ideas?

What in God's name are you talking about?

KenDckey -> RE: Creating Criminals (1/23/2011 5:50:16 AM)

Oh just things   like santuary cities where criminals are allowed by conspirators to stay untouched.  Or Those that support criminalizing the lack of healthcare.  Shit like that

Yeppers. I was asking myself that too. The only potential answer I could come up with was that 'Obamacare' creates medifraud. Which I felt was drawing a very long bow indeed - like arguing car manufacture creates drunk drivers. So that couldn't be right could it ?

Well, which would you like to talk about because one has no relation to the other.

The HCR law does not criminalize lack of health care. You need to stop making shit up and you need to get over your dislike of brown people.

Rule   the issue isn't either.   The issue is the people that allow this and supports this and stuff like that.   Is the creation of and support of crime.

Does it not create a penality (a fine) for violation of this law.   And does it not have an enforcement agency to make sure that you comply with this law or you will be fined?   And is it not true that if you refuse to pay for this that is a violation of the code (Income Tax since they are the enforcement agency) punishable by prision (you know   ask Al Capone)?  Is that not the basic creation of of crime?

Would you like some tin foil?

Since you wish to go down this road... lets consider another crime.

Its a crime to not pay for a service, as long as that service is legal... so we can leave such services as prositution out of the equation.

Would you agree with this?

[sigh] Now I know what the other 999,999 monkeys were typing.

pahunkboy -> RE: Creating Criminals (1/23/2011 9:02:17 AM)

Everyone here is a criminal and a terrorist.

Moonhead -> RE: Creating Criminals (1/23/2011 9:19:26 AM)

Even those who aren't American citizens?

KenDckey -> RE: Creating Criminals (1/23/2011 9:34:08 AM)

Tazzy, I have no problem with making prostitution legal.   but that requires a law change in most places.   Till then, it is still a crime.

Beats hell out of me.  I know that the GOP is stating that it will force people to get killed off, and get jailed for not having health care.  And I know that Dems are claiming t will fix the national debt.

I'm too lazy to read the damn thing (which I share with probably every single Senator and House member) so I have no clue what it DOES.  I suspect that you haven't read it either and are going by third hand reports from those who are biased.

TheHeretic -> RE: Creating Criminals (1/23/2011 10:44:54 AM)

Reading it would only tell you so much, Steve. Now matter how many good intentions are packed into the reams of law, the devil is in the details, and those aren't there. "The Secretary shall..."

I don't know that "creating criminals" is how I would approach the individual mandate. I'd call it a drastic overreach of Federal authority into the lives of the People. I believe the preferred slur on people of such opinion is "Constitution fetishist."

DarkSteven -> RE: Creating Criminals (1/23/2011 10:51:15 AM)

Hmmmmph. In response to Rich.... like I said before....http://www.collarchat.com/m_3525695/mpage_1/tm.htm

I said prostitution is exempted from this discussion.

What I am talking about is the stolen services from hospitals and physicians across the country. No ER that takes federal money is spared. People walk in, take the service, dont pay, and walk away without a worry.

And this is ok with you?

flcouple2009 -> RE: Creating Criminals (1/23/2011 11:38:19 AM)

Tazzy,

That's the catch they all ignore.  The fed is already paying for these peoples health care by giving the hospitals money.

The hospitals take those bills and file for grants, you know how that drill works.

Isn't shifting that money to actual health care instead of emergency care a better value?
