This spawned from an old fantasy of mine but have any of You Ladies studied martial arts as a little extra asset to add to Your bag of tricks and help You out in the dungeon?  Have You considered or think it may be a good idea to learn some control techniques or if You are already a skilled martial artist, do You make use of it during sessions?  I would think that Female Dominants in particular would really benefit from those kinds of skills given that in BDSM, we sometimes play with people we’ve only known for a short time and a little self defense skills aren’t a bad thing to have.

Besides, if used with care and by an expert, they could add an interesting dimension to a Domme/sub relationship.

Respectfully,

Not something I myself engage in but I do know a local girl who does kickboxing (at competition level) and just loves being able to utilise her skills in the dungeon, especially for all those boys who enjoy wrestling.  She is 5ft nothing lol but a lot of strength for such a small package :) Alas her husband was less than supportive of her following her heart and she has given up the scene :(

That's too bad for Her and the Your local BDSM community.

I know several ladies who are martial arts practitioners but they are not into BDSM to my knowledge.  I’ve trained in Martial Arts on and off since I was a kid and I’ve had a female teacher at one time who I’m sure had no idea what was going through my head as she slapped me around the dojo (the loose fitting gi almost gave me away a few times though hehe).  I’m a strongly built man so she always used me for demonstrations because she didn’t have to worry about hurting me… well not too much anyway.

9MM with 15 shot clip and a Defender.[:)]

That will work too of course.  Shooting a sub probably isn’t as fun putting them into an arm bar and watching them squirm but You’ve definitely got the protection part covered.

I am pro self-defense training for sub/slaves, and all women in general. It can add to primal play as well as his/her safety. I have been practicing martial arts and other eastern philosophy for almost 30 years. Joint manipulation, throws, take downs, and lets not forget the yummy little pressure points that make you scream “Ow frig that hurts!” Ads to the manhandle/overpower play. Playing with such you have to be mindful of your environment and insure that the sub/slave isn’t put at risk from hard impacts or obstacles in that environment. If you are very skilled the environment has little relevance for you will execute techniques that will allow you to control how hard and where the impact occurs. If you and your D/M enjoy primal play I would recommend Jiu-jitsu, Aikido, and Judo. This will reach you the principles of body/weight manipulation and neutralize the size difference.

D/M that are interested in looking at pressure points to add a unique dynamic to play should study acupuncture/pressure. I must stress this is not a jump in and do discipline. This will take years of devotion and study to fully understand the techniques and risks of pressure point manipulation. After years of studying pressure points in martial arts, as dense as I am, it occurred to me that they might have a healing side as well so I began to study acupuncture/pressure. Of course I am a bit more truculent by nature and it opened a bigger house of pain than I realized.

This is true, I certainly wouldn’t advocate incorporating MA holds and locks into play unless you know what you’re doing.  The styles I’ve practiced (Kyokushin Karate, Chu Fen Do, Krav Maga and just started Ninjutsu) are all uh! let’s say… destruction based martial arts but Aikido and Jiu-jitsu (traditional, not Brazilian) are great for that but both are extremely difficult to master and are among the most time consuming martial arts to learn.

Great post thanks!

WeeIttyBitty -> RE: Martial Arts in Domination (5/2/2006 12:21:15 PM)

Judo would probably be good... Less impact kicking or punching, and more tossing him around and putting him where ya want him - on the floor. (hopefully with a gym matt on it.)

Wulfchyld -> RE: Martial Arts in Domination (5/2/2006 12:24:31 PM)

You’re very welcome. Challenging ourselves, and better yet our sub/slaves, to become more and do more should be a priority in my opinion. Martial arts builds confidence, esteem and self-control. It will also teach dedication and commitment to our endeavors.

I completely agree, I haven't taken martial arts to the extend to play, but some local self defense courses for my own pleasure and also protection!

Vendaval -> RE: Martial Arts in Domination (5/2/2006 1:32:05 PM)

I advocate self-defense training and martial arts for boys and girls.  The benefits are
many; physical, mental, social, and self-confidence.  Using certain types of martial
arts is very appropriate for take down scenes, wrestling and hog-tying.

I don't know. I once had a guy stand with his hands behind his back and "shot" rubber bands at his balls for about a half an hour. [:)] (Not quite the same,,but still.)

WeeIttyBitty -> RE: Martial Arts in Domination (5/2/2006 2:07:53 PM)

There was a japanesse clip floating around of girls shooting a man whose hands where tied above his head, with a BB gun. (it looked like an M 16) ...

Also Insex did a scene where a woman was tied with her ass in the air, and he shot her in the ass with a paint pellet gun...

I once used a damp dish towel (clean of course, lol) to snap the same guy in the balls. My being seated on an ottoman, he standing a couple feet away. The best part was him twitching and dancing around while I would snap it at him but not try to hit (faking it) and then just when he thought I was going to continue faking, really lay one in there, lol. Vendaval -> RE: Martial Arts in Domination (5/2/2006 5:05:07 PM)

It is the unpredictabe blows that incite the most terror for the subbies.
Will it be hard or soft? Will it be on my ass, my thighs or my back?  Will it be...?   Yipe!  [8D]

My dream woman is one who I can practice, spar, and play with all at the same time, and be able to beat me....sometimes[:D]

Shaolin Kempo, Krav Maga, BJJ, Aikido, some Muay Thai and currently studying up on Kali and Silat.

someuniquename -> RE: Martial Arts in Domination (5/3/2006 8:42:05 AM)

Oh yeah.  I would love to find a highly qualified, Female Dominant martial arts teacher to train me personally.  A riding crop on your ass is a great incentive for getting a few extra knuckle push-ups out of you and sparring with her would no doubt be quite painful but probably quite effective in turning a sub into a fighting machine in no time.  I doubt she would have me waxing cars and painting fences like Ralph Machio but in payment for her training, I’d certainly be willing to be her 24/7 slave for the duration of the training.

Ahhhh, little grass hopper
Careful what you wish for, for Dommes as wise and whips are plentiful, but you, little grass hopper are replaceable!
