when i first met master a while before he collared me i felt that i was his. he also told me he always felt it too. i have always felt the 'collar' in me round my mind in my heart. the old clichy of him owning my mind heart and soul is how i feel. and like lady saidd about clip i always wanted to be owned jsut didnt know it existed. now i ahve found it i am at last at peace and happy. took me 50 years to find it and now feel like i have only jsut started out in life that i can enjoy it and i feel his collar on my neck and wrapped round my mind all the time

Menally collared I knew when I first wanted to be taught by my Master. Even though he didnt collar me right away or I might have not worn a collar at that time, my respect and honor was there for my Master. Anyone can put a collar around there neck, but what makes the collar is the behind the meaning come true. For me that is acting like a slave. Have a mindset like a slave all the time even when I am away from my Master. Following his expectations and guidelines that he had laid out for me at all times and beyond. When you dont want to please anyone else and you know exactly who you want to serve and surrender to you know you got the mental collar on. The actions that take forth come natural then.

as my Mistress said in sep of 07 i did feel like i had Her collar on me it was after a long discussion on the collar and what it means that i understood waht the significance of it realy was. i was not collared till 2 months later but i was Hers before then. i truly do love being collared and being able to serve Her

I don't feel 'owned'. I don't mean that in a bad way, I just mean the word doesn't fit for us. I prefer to think of it as I belong to him.

Of course, I'm his, but he's also mine. We have a strong connection, but it's a two-way thing.

Having said that - when did I know he was the one for me. Well it was in our early days. I ended our relationship because of other stuff going on in my life. He was great. Not pushy. Kept emailing me jokes to cheer me up etc. It was my birthday at the time and he was the first person to text me in the morning. He doesn't get up that early, so I knew he'd set his alarm early to be able to do so. That was the moment I knew I was his.

When he actually got the collar (not long afterwards actually) the event in itself wasn't that big a thing. Not because it isn't important to us both, but because it was just the right thing to do, a natural progression. It was just a physical manifestation of how we already felt for each other.
