ksslavegirl -> Need vibrator suggestions/help (1/27/2011 2:48:03 AM)

Hello, i was hoping to get some advice. i've been wanting to get a vibrator. i'm a bbw and on a tight budget, im also single. i've looked at vibrators, but have no idea how to choose one. i'm 25, and have had sex. i'm new to masturbation, and would appreciate any ideas. The cocks i have had were small to average size, not sure if that matters or not.

Thrift stores, I have a rather sizable collection of different vibrators, clean them up with an alcohol swab and go to town.

The Dr. Scholls percussion massager has an interesting shape, if "small to medium" is a complaint - you can put a condom over the whole thing if you have to, and the whole head vibrates, if the percussion is to much for you.

But there is a whole range of different ones, Swedish massagers strap to your hand, essentially turning your whole hand into a vibrator - the older ones use these springs to go around your hand, and hair can get caught in these if you're not shaved - see the Oster Stim-U-Lax.

I've found these and many more, including a waterproof one made by Pollenex that has different heads, and a hanger for the shower bar at thrift stores, I probably paid at the most $10 for the most expensive one, A Conair with several interchangeable heads, most were around $5.

Although I have some more expensive vibrators, my very favorite is a Doc Johnson egg that costs under $20.  Most stores will put batteries in them so you can check them out.  The soft ones tend to not vibrate as strongly as the hard metal ones.  Anyway, just feel the different ones until you find one that seems good to you.

I have bought a few for my old subs. My recommendation is you start with a cheap one to see if you even like them

HI, this may be a repeat but I highly recommend the Hitachi wand. Attachments, speed controls and other things can be added later. Plug in type, not batteries to die, easy to tie onto your body (hee hee) so your hands can be free (or not, hee hee)

They are amazing things. Just totally mind-blowing. I have a hard time orgasming sometimes, but I can't not with this thing! But it is a bit expensive, so it might not fit in the OPs budget (unfortunately!).

gotta go with the hitachi! around 45 dollars.

hitachis are pretty awesome. i've yet to experience the attachments though.
my favorite vibrator that i personally own is a little metal egg -- some off-brand thingie i got from extreme restraints during a valentine's day sale for $3. it works well for external tinkering, is small enough to insert without feeling too hurty, and offers just the right amount of intensity on the highest setting.

I am looking for a vibrator or butt plug that can be attached to my girdle or corset and worn constantly  ( remote control one would be nice too) I am a mtf and my bf would like to have this as an option for me

I understand the cost-sensitivity, but honestly, the best and cheapest vibrator I own is a pretty expensive model. I think it was about $150 USD. But I just plain got sick and tired of pieces of garbage that broke within 5 seconds of usage and cost me $15-$35 each time. The Lelo Elise, on the other hand, is compact, reasonably powerful, rechargeable, and built to real quality standards... not a cheap piece of plastic. I expect it'll last a decade until the rechargeable battery finally gives out.

Of course, all of that thinking only helps if you can think about cost over the long-term. If short-term finances preclude the purchase, oh well.
