I wish that the Chinese buffet restaurants here had delivery.  I could go for some house rice with double meats, wonton soup and eggrolls.

Yeah, I remember that one.  The bus to & from work went right by that place.  I never went in though.

Back in the days of yore, I was looking for a job as a waitress & I answered an ad at a Chinese restaurant.  It was in Chinatown Portland & it was up a couple flights of stairs.  I looked at the sign outside, went in & started up the stairs.  By the time I got to the top, I was laughing too hard to actually apply & turned around & went back downstairs & back outside.  The name?  Hung Far Low

Someone totally dropped the ball on this one.

I'm a customer of theirs, and yes, I have mentioned it.

My fave is a building firm in West Bromwich (an area with a large Asian community), who are all Sikhs, and where their slogan, on the side of their van, is:

YOU'VE TRIED THE COWBOYS. NOW TRY THE INDIANS!

When MMI (Motorcycle Mechanics Institute) recently changed their name to reflect their diversification into the marine watercraft and automotive repair instruction fields, they chose the name Universal Technical Institute which is more commonly referred to as UTI.

My synagogue has initials CBT, and refers to itself frequently like that.  So far, I've kept a straight face.

One time a former manager suggested that I take some CBT courses as part of my professional development during a face-to-face performance review.  Of course, she meant computer-based training, which the company offered free of charge, but it was all I could do to keep from cracking up.

There is a trucking company with the initials TMI on their trucks. Every time I see one I hear my daughter saying, "TMI, Mom!! LALALALALA"

ETA: CBT also stands for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Bad choice!!

There's a chain of gas stations/convenience stores in some midwestern states called "Kum & Go."  Probably not the very worst choice for a company name, but it is kind of funny.  I had to refill the tank of a rental car on the way to the Sioux Falls, SD airport and ended up stopping there.  Later I heard some people jokingly refer to it as "Ejaculate and Evacuate."

I remember seeing the "Kum & Go" gas stations. Then there are the "Snip & Clip" stores. Is that for quick serve vasectomies?
