Ishtar, given that your nick begins with a capital letter, it is not entirely implausible that you made a pass at me and want me very much, but I fear you are filled with jealousy. You also feel embarrassed to admit your true feelings as well. I worship another female for something you have not given me. I can worship "love" many females if that is any consolation to you. I did not reject you so don't feel hurt.

Are you further trying to prove my point?

You didn't start acting like a love sick puppy to any other woman on this board.
Yet, with me, you're instantly lowering yourself to making romantic and sexually tinted comments.

You're doing a good job as showing off how you will immediately turn into a drooling yearning fool, any time a woman shows off even a tad bit of flesh (or blond hair, that apparently seems to work too).

All things considering, it's making your previous post's make much more sense. I can understand that a man who is so easily manipulated and controlled by women needs to over compensate by artificially pumping up his own ego and telling himself that he can't be controlled by love.

I'd have to agree that you probably can't be controlled by love, seeing that you obviously much easier controlled by usage of your libido.

Ishtar

I feel that your femininity is troubling to you because you know very well the power it gives you. I am not the sort of man you have ever known. My libido is unbound and reaches into the Heavens. The Goddess has transformed me into something more than a mere man. You fear that I would not want the woman inside. You are getting warm in that I do not claim to be a successful lover. I am also not embarrassed to admit that a beautiful woman is something extraordinary especially when her core is not rotten. I am a drooling yearning fool! It is a source of much joy for me.

Shouldn't this be under "introductions?"

What I want out of a relationship is the love and adoration of my lover. I want to have good cause to praise my lover (I'm a straight dominant male by the way). I feel it is the obligation of my lover to strive to give me that cause. I desire excellence. Some feel that love is inconvenient, a contradiction. I regard it as a foregone conclusion that love creates obligations. These obligations limit your freedom. It is true that love can bring a dominant man to his knees, but this is to win her heart. Love is a conqueror. If I have not conquered you today, I shall some day. It is about as dominant a force there is. It it merciless in its endurance and is unrelenting. She is to present herself broken on the anvil of love, today or tomorrow.

All is fair in love and war, even this. Merciless am I for you are unworthy of mercy. You belong at my side under my thumb. Amore, Amore. May you be chained to me for all eternity.

It took me time..to balance between love and Dominance.
Soem slaves wanted attention..not love..others needed love...when I gave attention.
I discovered I can give both when needed...and want both by times.
And yes..by times I hate what love does with you..but mostly love it.

At least you're rational enough to admit the truth...

Greetings BenevolentM

I am one who treasures the reality of love, and been blessed to exist in a relationship for 29 years. Now 5 years later, it is not here outside of me, but I carry what was still in me. When or if there is a person that I want to give my love completely to, it will be without thought of inconvenience. It will not measured by what others have or don't have. It will not be dictated to me by what the Internet, books, people etc accept as their truth. None of that can carry any weight when you choose to live the life you want. Of course choosing to be responsible for all your successes, mistakes and all-the- in- betweens, kind of leaves the outside world free from 'your' blame and excuses. Heck loving is nothing more than magnificent and it is I. I have to not define why or explain me, just be okay to be me.

I also do not have the need to snap my fingers and demand it now. If it comes again, blessed be. If it does not, than it doesn't change what is inside me...i am still love.

What I want out of a relationship...

That's possibly the point, it's what you want out of it, but a relationship involves 2 people, unless the other person wants exactly the same out of it (doesn't happen all that often) it will always be a compromise. Falling in love isn't pushing your will on another person, falling in love is accepting another person for what the other person is, not trying to change the person to suit you.

Thank you Ishtarr. Please, do not think ill of me. I have yet to comment on a variety of wonderful and diverse commentary on the subject. It brings hope to me in that such variety of wonderful and diverse commentary suggests that there is goodness that is yet to be found, not fools gold, but the real thing.

The moment you define "love" to your partner, have them define their interpretation for you, and you both understand what you actually mean when you utter the words, the entire primary question becomes moot and you no longer need the word.

I find myself out of place here in the lifestyle given my penchant for the nectar of the gods. Whether it be my desire to climb Mt. Olympus or my adoration of the Goddess in her many forms. Many feel that adoration is a devotion for submissives only, unbecoming a dominant male. A loveless partnership is practical in that if there is no illusion of love, it is easier to get down to business. Toss my salad and we vacation in Greece.

Lmao.

BenevolentM -> RE: Is Love Inconvenient? (1/29/2011 9:14:58 PM)

My experience indicates that females in general have iron expectations. It is for the man to give them precisely what is expected.

Love can put you on a string where you are no longer the puppet master. So I can see why some people can be skeptical of it. It is all a matter of priorities. Is power exchange more important to you than real living and real loving?

It is better to build a pyramid to last a thousand years, than it is to do a thousand women. It is as true today and it was true in ancient Egypt. Build it and they will cum. Pharaoh thou art a god!

I'm the one stuck with having to build a pyramid with no Israelites. I think his name was Moses.

Luke keep practicing with your sister while I spend time alone with this Penthouse magazine. I need time to sort out what exactly just happened.
