Well, he must have enjoyed it or he wouldn't have put up with it. Would you enjoy having him eat that way? I get the idea that you wouldn't (but I'm just guessing).

MistressDelilya -> RE: Feeding A Slave (1/30/2011 4:11:16 PM)

Thank you for all the replies. I really appreciate hearing everyones thoughts on the matter.

No, I wouldn't want him to eat that way. For one I want him healthy. For two, I would much rather he eat at my feet, than be banished to the kitchen to eat alone. We still have a lot of territory to cover before a meeting.

fannythemaid -> RE: Feeding A Slave (1/31/2011 2:02:30 AM)

It is not about my enjoyment in life, I am a fully trained slave /maid and I should not question Mistress wishes.

I have no problem eating from the kitchen floor just the food is almost cold and soggy most times.
The food has the same nutrition value as Mistress, after all it is her leftovers from her plate.

She explained to me when she first introduced this rule that she had no wish to watch a pig eat its food and that
my food is only provided as means of fuel to keep me health and to work hard, by eating from the kitchen floor
shows everyone my status in life.
She sometime says that that she may start making me eat from the bathroom floor as this maybe more suited to
my status, but so far has never done this.

Fanny the maid.

Loves the meatloaf jokes! But missed it first time around so don't understand what went wrong with this simple dish. The Joy of Cooking recipe is foolproof. (I use just one kind of ground beef.)

I add raspberry chipotle marinade as a glaze. If it weren't so expensive, I'd use this for the ketchup as well.

LOL...The first and only time I made meatloaf you could have used it for paving stones in the back yard...In fact, I think that is what I did....Now, that was substandard food.

fannythemaid -> RE: Feeding A Slave (1/31/2011 8:26:39 AM)

I have showed my Mistress this thread and her answer to Sub Standard Food is normal human food but the food that has just gone out of date, or meats that are starting to turn colour and may smell a little.

She has informed me that for a month trial that when I shop I must look out for this food and because it is very cheap that this will save her a lot of money on the food bill.

She and her friends will contiue to eat the good food and I will after cooking and serving then be allowed to ccok my sub standard food and eat from the kitchen floor as usual.

Will keep you updated on this.

Fanny.

Pet animals eat off the floor and they eat "sub standard" food compared to us.

Not to nit pick- My pets eat off the floor because they're unable to sit at a table and use forks and spoons. They also have many different type of food dispensing toys to make meal time interesting and fun besides 'oh great, kibble again'. Sometimes I wish I could have a food dispensing toy! But their diet is far better than mine ever has been. Bison, venison, duck, rabbit, chicken, salmon... I could go on. I can't even remember the last time I ate venison, and I've never had duck or bison.

This is why I find it difficult to feed a human pet substandard food. It's as if they're assuming my animal pets have such a low place on the totem pole that what they're fed isn't much better than garbage. That's insulting, since I take their health far more seriously than I take mine, most of the time, and garbage is unhealthy.

I love cooking, I love cooking good, tasty, beautiful meals. C has requested before that I feed him out of a bowl on the floor, but it never meshed well with my desires for him. I want someone to be fully aware of my food, and to enjoy it just as much as I do.

That's such a disgrace to a meal that could be potentially amazing! Ground turkey, onion soup mix, bread crumbs, an egg or two, ketchup/bbq sauce mixed evenly, and a good ceramic broiling pan = mouthwatering explosion of flavor and goodness.

I hope she enjoys cleaning up your puke after her fantasy gives you food poisoning.

Yes, fantasy meets reality once again.

As it turns out he is too extreme for me. I am looking for a partner, not a pet, and he wishes to be dehumanized. It simply is not my thing.

Thank you for all the thoughts, feelings and information.

Steponme73 -> RE: Feeding A Slave (1/31/2011 2:10:57 PM)

SomethingCatchy...I will try your receipe and see how it turns out! I am a much better cook now and I am sure it will be excellent. Thank you.

As I have heard from other dommes, "Why do I want someone who has no value as my submissive?"

Exactly.

Perhaps I seek the impossible. I still expect my sub to be a companion to me, not dirt under my feet. I am not criticizing anyone who seeks differently, it just isn't for me. I want someone I can talk to as a human being. I already own a dog.

No, I don't think you are seeking the impossible. You want a real human being, not list of fetishes on a D/s label.

I think men who are into the dehumanizing thing are really looking for a free pro-domme to "punish" them for being "bad little boys." That's my take on them, anyway.

What's the consensus here been on feeding your men slave gruel?

This. Assuming this whole thing isn't a fantasy tp begin with, and the lady's name isn't actually Rosy Palm.

Food poisoning is no joke. It can hospitalize or kill. This is well beyond kinky fun and into the realm of life threatening extremity. Your slave could end up dead and you could end up in jail. I really do not recommend going there.

Depends on what it's made of. One thing to be careful of is glycemic index; long cooked gruels can be pretty high-GI and contribute to insulin resistance, even if you started with a decent whole grain.

A healthy "slave gruel" could be made with oats + protein powder. Or put some tofu in a blender and add raw vegetables. That'll keep'em healthy while staying within the "slave gruel" fantasy.

If you mean feeding someone nothing but Cream of Wheat for a week, I'd have health issues with that. It's true they wouldn't die or starve, and probably wouldn't get immediately sick either. But you'd be damaging their metabolism and probably putting them in a state of catabolism (muscle wasting), decreasing their lean body mass even if their weight remained the same. I do consider that as doing real harm, and it would be beyond my limits.

You can limit or eliminate carbs a lot more safely than you can limit or eliminate protein, and let's not forget micronutrients. I'd suggest adding a daily multivitamin iif you are attempting any kind of drastically unbalanced diet, if you must do this at all. And I don't recommend doing drastically unbalanced diets unless you seriously know what the hell you are doing or are doing it under doctor's orders.
