that looks like it would feel real weird for a long while.

About as weird as sleeping with a chin guard or a mouth piece.

chubbysubbyguy -> RE: For snorers ... and those who live with them (2/2/2011 1:23:53 AM)

yeah I couldn't do that I can't even use a mouth guard when I'm awake and playing sports

Apnea ? Since when do people snore when they are not breathing ?

Snoring is a first symptom then when relaxing further into REM sleep the soft palate can completely block the airway .... that is apnea, loss of breathing while sleeping. You get no rest as you never fully get to REM sleep and stay exhausted all the time.

The usual treatment is to sleep with a CPAP that gives a positive pressure boost to the air coming in so you never get the airway blocked and no snoring sound as your lungs labor to pull air in past a partial obstruction.

I noted the actual doctor said it is NOT a cure but it helps in some cases.

And, yes, a cpap has been wonderful in increased health and quality of life but I have to use my "alien face sucker" while I sleep.

It's all a giant feminist conspiracy. There is no such thing as sleep apnea. As soon as we are broken, and every snorer has to strap into his cpap at night, they will "discover" a horrible condition that causes bed farts, and set out to cure that as well.

I had (have) Apnea for about 3 or 4 years and was dragging ass exhausted everyday from lack of a good night's sleep.
I got the CPAP machine about a year and a half ago and what a differance!
I used to be yawning all the time and taking naps but now most mornings I wake up well rested and don't yawn anymore.

LOL does that mean strapping a tube on the back end as well??

I have female friends with sleep apnea who use a cpap.

Daddy Dearest uses one.  When we're drifting off to sleep before he puts the mask on, he'll start snoring and snoring, and then....silence.  No breath, no movement.  I nudge him, then he goes back to breathing/snoring.  With the mask on, no snoring and lots of breathing.

Aren't bed farts manna from heaven inspired by god such that your slave can sniff them up and get rid of them?

To everything, turn, turn, turn, there is a purpose, sniff, sniff, sniff...

windchymes -> RE: For snorers ... and those who live with them (2/3/2011 8:10:39 AM)

We'll just strap you into the cpoop machine.

outhere69 -> RE: For snorers ... and those who live with them (2/3/2011 6:06:17 PM)

I bet if we used negative pressure at the fart orifice, it would open the airway at the snore orifice, killing two birds with one stone.

The ass gas could be used to drive the vacuum pump.
