you're not one of those cavemen types that thinks shouldn't ride their own bikes, are you, RF?

Not at all GT. I've taught plenty of them.

They just tend to be crap at it, that's all :)

But no, I wouldn't restrict them from doing so. It's generally more fun (for me) if they're pillion though.

PS: Since when did "cavemen type" become a pejorative? It's a good thing as far as I'm concerned ;)

not perjoratively meant..

there is a place for that attitude, IMO.

Glad to know that youre not the type to get all asswad-ish about women on bikes :)

That means I can still like you LOL

I miss having my own bike...

Not at all. I just wish they wouldn't unless they're halfway competent ... which would rule out about 90% of them.

I've never been able to work out why they're so bad, but there you are.

That said, I know a very fast female road-rider (who I taught) and one of my Facebook pals is one of the fastest women racers on earth ATM, so it is do-able. Then again, any biking, even if it's slow, wobbly biking, is better than not biking, in my book*.

*except the small, cute girls, who are better as pillions :)

I was an instructor, so I think it is safe to say that I am one of those skilled riders...

heh. Not a given, in my experience, but no worries :)

How much track time have you had?
