What this establishes, and is met with contortions of denial, every time it comes up, is the cluelessness of the prognosticators.
What we don't understand about climate on our planet far outmeasures the bits and pieces we think we have figured out. There are likely some matters of concern in here, but the theory became a movement, and was hijacked to an un-related anti-capitalist and authoritarian agenda. I consider letting those motherfuckers be in charge a far, far, worse outcome than the poorly understood consequences of a bit more heat being contained by increased carbon dioxide.
The people who said these stupid things must now step forward and perform their act of public contrition, before retreating to obscurity, shame, and disgrace. Only when that happens can reasonable people come together to figure out how to evolve to a changed environment, and how we might learn from the lesson, if there is anything to be learned at all, besides Mama Nature being a bitch sometimes.
