The times, they do change, huh? 25 years ago, it was the Brits who let us use their bases to go nail Kadafi, and the French who wouldn't let us use their airspace to on the trip.

It's all well and good politicians saying such things now, especially opposing governments, but if Cameroon was in that position, would he have done anything different given the circumstances at the time and without the knowledge he has now, or is it yet another opportunity to take a pot shot at Blair and Brown. The guy comes across as a cheap opportunist, his continued attacks are getting very boring, as for Clegg, whos'e he.

But it is interesting to note that all the ills Britain faces now Cameroon is quick off the mark to blame it all on the previous government, one wonders if Cameroon is actually hiding his lack of ability behind the previous government's failings, a situation where if his policies do not work, then it will be blamed on the previous government as usual.
