It must be easy to call bullshit from the comfort of your nice warm home. Did you even watch the clip DCWoody? There is a massive stray cat problem in Florida. There are simply too many to deal with and when you look at them they are ridden with disease, parasites, and hunger.

I drove down to Florida and got 2 to add to the 6 I have (and have acquired another) and these were in a Save a Pet shelter. I cannot even bear to think of the ones outside that have no sustenance help at all!!!!!

Detroit has a population of 1-5million people, depending how ya count it. Even with the biggest number, that'd be 1 stray dog per 100 people. It's just not realistic..... Just a few months ago this forum was full of people arguing about that party-rally thing. About 80k people turn up, but numbers in millions are reported. The source of the 50,000 number is a youtube video advertising for donations to a dog rescue. So yeah, it is very, very, easy to call bullshit.

Journalists call it "special pleading" and used to shun it. Now, fact checking is out the window and whatever anyone says (WMDs in Iraq) is taken at face value. Anyone remember when The Center for Missing Children claimed 100,000 children were kidnapped each year? After that lie fell apart they changed their name to Center for Missing and Exploited Children. (Probably because the latter figure couldn't be confirmed)
