Well, its been an amazing journey so far since I stumbled into this world 'accidentally' end of 2010... let's see what happens next!
Brand spanking new to BDSM... Lots of things to learn... Constantly Wide-Eyed
I have a hundred more Questions than Answers... Am ready to listen, watch, experience and learn.
I 'think' I'm a switch... but time will tell-will only know more by getting moving and learning more about myself along the way.
My first experience was rope (swoon), very interested in suspension, don't know my thresholds or limits but keen to explore the sub realm. I'm a vibrant enthusiastic personality, laugh loudly and often and am strong in my core self and my values of respect, equity, embracing others' diversity, and the freedom of choice. Consensuality makes sense to me, no ifs or buts.
I like being around positive and interesting people who also value and respect others and themselves...whatever the area, whether friends, work etc... and view my BDSM journey exactly the same way. I'm real and open to ideas.
What am I hoping for? ... Meeting some people with experience and values who are prepared to share, show and help me explore this part of me.
I'd love to hear from you if you suspect I may be the kind of person you'd enjoy being around, on whatever basis.

How'd I get here? I have literally 'stumbled' into the BDSM world... I figure it's the Universe's gift, placing me @ the right place in the right time with the right people ... and then revealed a tantalizing and gorgeous glimpse of the world of BDSM/kink.
I attended a workshop given by a sublime Domme... even knowing that the workshop was on, let alone being at a venue over New Year's where such things could be openly discussed, was a part of the serendipity jigsaw puzzle that came together. She called for a volunteer for a bondage exercise... my hand went up before I even noticed my response...little sparks burst from within and I had no idea why.
What followed was 20-30 minutes (who knows?) of the most amazing, most intimate and most purifying experience I have ever had in my life... went to another place and space. A major revelation-had never heard of 'space' or seen it before, nor the beauty of the sensations and feelings stirred by what was no doubt very very light play.
Far beyond my once cliched mainstream view of BDSM and English politicians penchant for it! Far beyond something being 'done' to someone-instead a place of trust, openness, mutual sharing, beauty and connection.
My appetite is whet...
I have the taste...
And I want more...
Of the known... and the unknown...
The release... the risk...
The glorious yielding to the pleasures unique to self...
Hedonism never sounded SO good...
I long for a journey of experiences, discovery of self and savouring the delights, most of which I am, in my current newbie state, largely ignorant and blissfully unaware (lmao)
I have shared a space with some lovers as what I'd now know as Dom... but very light, more just play than intent...open to that and more as I so much enjoyed bringing my partners the unique sensations and feelings they desired, without truly understanding the realm we entered into or how organically they craved and desired the beauty of their own inner world.
I'm real, ready to explore, and doing a gentle bit of quivering even typing this up. No BS, no preconceived ideas, no 'shoulds', no faux attempt at trying to impress anyone with my experience, knowledge or lack thereof.

If you enjoy words, ideas, open and honest communication, have an absurdist sense of humour, don't take yourself TOO seriously (lol) and your favourite questions in life include things such as 'why?' ... 'what happens when?' ... 'what do you think about?' and really enjoy just being 'you'... you're the kind of person I'd love to hear from, whether different backgrounds, different outlooks, different life experience or whatever.
To share thoughts...ideas... perspectives...or one day more... I am a blank canvas awaiting a series of joyous swirls of colour.
Because, at the end of it all, vive le difference...
