A BDSM story by Maya Banks is on the NYT electronic book bestseller list.

The book is called Colter's Daughter, and is published by Samhain (that's my publisher, too!). Colter's daughter is a D/s themed erotic romance. The previous books in the series had poly themes.

Books like this might be a better BDSM intro (to the mainstream woman) than a kinkified Rhianna video.

Why would I want to? Because you are funny!

My blog isn't about solving world hunger, proving the existence of dark matter, or curing cancer, anyway. I was just thinking about writing a little essay on introducing BDSM to the larger world through popular culture. What's significant, what's exploitative, what's silly. That sort of thing.

Interesting. It's in the UK Kindle store for just over £3. No reviews yet but I might try it anyway.
