My neice leaves for Australia tonight (16 th). She'll go from Boston to Detroit then onto LAX on Delta for those two flights.
Then she leaves LAX at 8:10p on V Australia, that new Australian airline that Sir Richard Branson started bound for Sydney and then to Brisbane.
It's a flight time of 14:55 hrs!!! And that's just LAX to Sidney!
She's doing an exchange study at a Uni down there 'till the end of June with the U. of Maine where she's studying Phys Therapy.
I'm wondering if there is a site where I can go into and punch in her flight number and airline and watch the progress of her flight over the Pacific? Greedy, this sounds like it's right up your alley!

Flight Aware is the one I use. It will also give you the sectional charts use by pilots flying VFR. These sites are great for when you are picking someone up at an airport. It will tell you within 5 minutes of a flight arrival..

Well, I guess my neice landed in Sydney at 2:06 pm EST.
My sister said she got an e-mail from her and that she's waiting for ANOTHER flight to Brisbane.
Boy, she'll have athlete's ass after all that flying!
